Nice video, lovely weather. I'm very interested in the set up of your mates sib (Tobin sports boat). What has he got on the front for pulling and where did he get it from, its just what I'm looking for for my boat.
@ScrewsCruise-SIBFishingUK19714 ай бұрын
Hi Bud and thanks, the Tobin belonged to @chrisdavison2022 He actually made that from a golf trolley and it worked a treat for him, He's got a set up like mine now but a bigger engine.. I believe he still has the Tobin up for sale too.. Give him a message and he'll give you more details on his trolley, Cheers again and thanks for watching 👍🎣

Very well done for using the kill cord, few people do. Get a VHF though, preferably a DSC version & a lifejacket too. A drogue can be more versatile than an anchor in afast drift. Looks like a typical beadnell day out to me, codling, but no mackerel lately for me.Spinners can take pollock too & they're pretty lively. Keep up the good work.
@ScrewsCruise-SIBFishingUK19716 ай бұрын
Hi and apologies for the late response. I have everything that I need now, different PFD, always take an extra VHF out too. Just got a massive 1.2 mtr drogue too from savage gear, so that'll definitely slow my drift down when I next get out. But I do love Beadnell and will keep going for as long as I can, love the whole beach, clarity and easiness too.👍

Yeah, someone corrected me when I first posted it, I've had pouting before aswell shore fishing so I don't know why I thought it was a wrasse at the time, but great fun anyways 😄

@thekayakingleprechaun1532 Where are you fishing from, When I was in my Kayak, I did on very few occasions go on my own, I always let people know where I was and was always in touch with my wife when I was on the water, always had my radio and pfd and felt safe then. Have you do a self rescue course which I'd strongly recommend doing, it helped me in my 1st video..

2 questions i want to ask you Do you prefer the sib to the kayak and do you pump up the sib with air every time you go out
@ScrewsCruise-SIBFishingUK197110 ай бұрын
Good morning . Firstly,I loved the kayak especially on flat calm days when the sea looks like a sheet of glass, it's also good for exercising if you're paddling.But I prefer the SIB as I can get out more in worse conditions and stronger winds,get to places a lot quicker meaning more time to fish, and yes to having to pump it up every trip. Normally takes half hour for the full set up to be done.(but still loved my fist yak).👍 Cheers.
@happy1111110010 ай бұрын
@@ScrewsCruise-SIBFishingUK1971 Last question do you wash down the sib every trip and then fold it away after it dries or do you get it home and then wash it down your replies are very valuable thank you
@ScrewsCruise-SIBFishingUK197110 ай бұрын
When I finish my sessions, it's normally chucked in the car but blow it back up again when I get home, wash it down with soapy water and dry it off with a towel.. fold it away which can be a bit awkward in the cold but i do manage it. I always clean all my equipment that I use to keep it looking top notch. I'll also run my motor for a good 25 mins in fresh water to rinse out the salt water. But don't worry about questions bud, I'm happy to answer to the best of my abilities as I've only been doing Sib for under a year.. 👍

It wasn’t a Wrasse, and it wasn’t a Pout, I’m fairly sure it was a Poor Cod. The British record is only 13 oz, so that could well have been a record breaking fish!
