we have 3 Siberians and they are just wonderful - all different but genuinely awsome. they get along with everyone - dogs included... dogs seem to just accept them from day 1 .. they all talk, want pats and cuddles...often they will sit on my lap for a few minutes them move to the next fam member and cuddle them too...they chat, they each know their name and when called - no matter where they are - each will come running... we love these guys,.

My siberian isn't quiet lol. He is one hell of a talker. He chirps, trills, meows... etc. He's not loud, but he's very vocal. He loves to play, but he's also very sweet and loves to flop down next to me for cuddles, especially when I get home. He'll meet me at the door, and he always scratches his post when I walk in, then meows at me till I sit down and give him affection, then it's play time. He's a good boy though, and he has never once scratched me on purpose, only accidentally during play.

My “stray from the bay” adopted j me e 3 years ago. Came running out of bushes after I finished my walk. Scrawny. Group helped me trap. Took to shelter. No chip, male & not neutered. Shelter tested, vaccinated & neutered. Probably 6 years now. Huge, 18 lbs, DNA shows Mainecoon, Ragdoll & Siberian are 3 main breeds. Charles is my Velcro cat. Sleeps by my feet, on my chest a lot. Eats, trills, stands up & begs. Jumps in fridge moment I open door. Constantly hungry. He is a love. Cuddly.

I’ve had my wee boy (Chip) for 5 years now. Naw once has he scratched, ruined any furniture. He soon had a love fae the outdoors, which was a worry. So far, he’s always come haim. He’s naw very cuddly but he ‘loves’ his food and he follows me everywhere and very protective of me, as I am him, when I take him out for walks. I brush him three, four times a week as he can get matted. He is bi-coloured, sandy & white with a white underbelly, white around his whiskers/nose, main, paws, and the best thing for me, the tip of his tail 😻 He’s always said by many to be a beautiful cat and he’s everyone’s friend on my street ! He is very vocal too ❤

Most beautiful, intelligent, personable, loving and all around fantastic cat I’ve ever had. I loved them all, but my Sib was so exceptional in so many ways -- a true family member, intelligent companion, friend, and guardian of my heart. Always a large healthy fella, at 17 he went to The Rainbow Bridge. Initially paralyzed with grief, ….. I now remember & focus on our wonderful life & have joy & gratitude for what was. Fun fact. These cats are actually hypoallergenic because they produce less allergens. Like Hypothyroidism. That is the thyroid gland producing LESS hormones. The only reason why people assume hypoallergenic means no allergens is misinformation.

We adore our 5 month Siberian kitty. He s always where we are. He brings his toys to us so we can play with him. So dog-like in the best way. So loving. A purr machine. My husband is hyper allergic to cats but doesn’t react at all to our baby. It is also due to the brand of cat food which takes 21 days of feeding to take effect. 😻

$1000 lol. I wanted a big cat and started with the Maine Coon. They can have several health problems and then I saw the Norwegian. I’m of Viking ancestry and thought they were cool, but super rare in the States. Then I heard Siberians were hypoallergenic and lucky there were a few catterys near me. I loved the cattery Siberian Pearl as they are mountain folk like me and my kitten would be used to the altitude. He’s been pure joy and I think he likes our huge catio too and playing in the snow.

A true Siberian has supper thick fur are rare and quite expensive. Get a Maine coon. Less money and are great cats!
