I laughed for two hours straight when I read about her thinking that in a bonus short story. She's known the man for six years now, and she thinks he'd charm/seduce his 9-year-old first cousin even without meaning to.

Yes, Rudy’s brothers beat him up and kicked him out of the house when he didn’t show up for their parents’ funeral, instead finding him watching something lewd. When Zenith first announced her pregnancy, he hoped it wouldn’t be a little brother, that he’s had enough of brothers.

Ruijerd's reaction to Eris was much stronger in the light novel. He seemed uncomfortable with it, and he was also uneasy about Rudeus’s relationship with Sylphie, Sylphie could even sense it from the way he looked at her. Rudeus felt like his relationship with Ruijerd had grown a bit distant because of this, but in the end, everything turned out fine.

Ruijerd spent nearly three years seeing how Eris was completely smitten with Rudeus, and he likely shipped the two as a result. And now he's seeing that ship sunk. Hearing Rudeus' side would've given pointers as to why this development happened.
