They did that because they were literally trash talking Teresa & her husband at the moment she walked up to congratulate them again. Don't know if editing was done in there. But how it was played for us to see, her brother flipped out because he was drinking & telling his wife that he wants her to react, they all were talking gossip & putting his sister down while cameras were on. So it's like if they accepted her congratulations they would look more like liars & phony too I guess to them, but it ended up making her brother look bad in the end for that.

Also, they can't argue that they never joined the show to get back at teresa. They did, they were upset that she didn't put melissa up there with her on the same platform, interviews, events etc. Joe says right her, at the first day of filming this season at his own child's christening, Just walk away, do what you do everyday, he also says, do to her what she does to us. When talking about tersesas friends, her events she invites them too. The gorgas lie too much they can't keep track. They say they were never invited to things that the show got to tersesa's head. Meanwhile, they show that in fact teresa has invited them to everything. They are there at her events befeoe joining the show. Melissa's sisters were trying to help get Melissa on the show as well in their tweets. Telling people how fun it was to be at tersesa's house. They were there because their sister is tersesa's sister in law. Then they get the contracts, they are on the show. Season 3 is being done. Now the sisters and the gorgas are saying all these mean things, mean tweets, melissa keeps saying it's not true. Yet, here again we see melissa saying what a bad aunt she is, how Joe's family are not normal, she's tries everything to please his family etc. Yet once on, first day of filming, what are they doing they are trash talking her. If u miss your sister so much, you're so hurt why act nasty. They do the same back to T, show up to her things, he makes his commands of what he wants, guess what she does, teresa does it. She always says I love you. Joe has a pattern too. His is when he knows he's called out, in the wrong, or talking too much he then says, I'm hurting, it's hurt. Melissa's pattern is she will flip it, gas light. She will make over dramatic faces. She does the abusive language of where they make u think your crazy or made up things. For example using their words in reverse, like I can't believe your saying that, so you're saying that as the aunt, your brothers only sister that is what you're saying to me, or she will deflect, so your doing this like what you did to Jackie, or remember when you said this about Jacqueline etc. Teresa isn't perfect, healthy either, she has some gross immature moments too. How ever, the gorgas need to stop "acting " like they never tried to hurt back, break up tre marriage too, spread rumours about T & her husband or sit with enemies of teresa as well. Joe & melissa literally say in their own words in this opening of season 3,that they want teresa to feel how they do about her snubbing them. How is it they don't talk, she never invited them etc, but then he says she ignores them at all of her events, which is it? Because at their events teresa isn't invited to everything, she's never at their table, so why cry and whine then go and do the same thing. It reminds me of this saying that I think fits for the gorgas perfectly, "if you go around telling eveyone you have a problem with me, but don't tell me. You don't have a problem with me, you just enjoy the attention of talking about me to others."

There's an old saying; 'Your daughter is a daughter and that daughter's for life. Your son's your son 'til he takes a wife'. I think Teresa and Joe grew up so close with their parents and each other and it hurts to see your child or sibling with a wife/husband you don't necessarily approve of. In korea it’s very similar. My eldest brother was my idol, and he got married to someone no one really likes (present tense), and while I’m happy for their marriage and love my nieces and nephew, i just don’t see him as the same brother anymore. Danielle Staub alleged messages by Melissa to get on the show and expose the Guidice's fraud, the snow lodge fight and after Melissa consoling Jo and saying you know where they will end up. Bravo Con reply on why the show do when there known friction for opportunity like any other when family and trying to fix is her supposed mantra. Melissa just isn't aware enough or articulate enough to connect it. She should of broke it down at the reunion differently. Danielle S had no gain to lie about those messages. the Producers look like they have made a decision and know what is best after seeing it unravel for too long and who to have that have storylines that focus on more positives and moving forward in life which Terese is better doing than Melissa.

It came out Melissa never was close to Teresa until they came to the show and were faking that they wanted to be close. People try to say Teresa pushed Joe and Melissa out but like Teresa said Melissa had her own sisters. Joe was vile too. Look how he treated his sister so Melissa is not the issue. He was fame thirsty too. Melissa's family were vile to Teresa that her invitation was a technicality and years later they're complaining Teresa didn't invite them or Melissa's family. exactly but in during Joe's baby son's christianing a majority of adult guests were drunk and even Joe G himself was drunk which no one should be in a kid's party, Teresa should have waited till next day when Joe was sober to talk in private that would evoid everything, Melissa's siblings should have kept their mouths shut and not add more fuel to the fire by budding the conversation and issue between teresa and joe, melissa should have been the peace keep and instead of instigating more drama for what ever high school petty bullshit reason, she should have instigated a reconcilation between her husband and Teresa and to keep the family united to the bad times and good times
