Pretty sure Amsterdam Pride is the biggest pride in the world. There is a boat parade through the canals and the streets are litterally cramped . Every year about 350.000 people visit. Not only people from all over the country, but also from all over Europe. Although there is still homophobia in the Netherlands, the straight people have submerged in Amsterdam pride for a long time now.

If I worked for chickfila, or any other notoriously anti-LGBT company, and they changed their social media logos to the rainbow during June or had an item on the menu that was Pride Month themed while still donating to anti-LGBT organizations, I wouldn’t be excited. I would be disgusted that they are trying to pander to LGBT people and trying to get their money while ultimately funding organizations that are actively trying to erase all progress the LGBT community has made. The business that they might lose would likely be less than the business they would gain by doing so, so I don’t think that is commendable either. And it’s always really straightforward whenever this happens (companies donating to anti-LGBT organizations) not a company donating to a company donating to a company that donates to an anti-LGBT organization.
