light sleeping is definitely motherhood! lol before babies, I was the DEEPEST sleeper who could literally fall asleep and stay asleep anywhere, now I can hear my babies stirring at night, and can differentiate between which dog in the neighborhood is barking lmao

As a kid, I shared with my sister. One thing that helps is giving each kid a little of there own space within the room. Growing up I was allowed to send my sister off of my bed if I wanted some personal space.

I have 5 kids! I have 3 (twins and another one year younger) who share a triple bunk bed. And I have 2 babies in the nursery (a 4 year old and an 11 month old) and it works out very well. The 3 who share a room is one female and 2 males. And so far, it’s all good

My son aged 6 and daughter aged 4 share a room and bunk bed. It works well since they have the same bed times so can get themselves ready for bed together. I 100% agree that sharing a room brings siblings together. They keep each other entertained in the early mornings and I'm hoping I can move no. 3 into their room in a year's time

You guys are great! Could you talk about skin care while pregnant/ nursing? I've found a wonderful skincare line that is safe for pregnancy but it took me forever to find it. Could you share your favs or address common skin issues while pregnant?

My two kiddos, boy and girl, share a room. At 6 months old we moved our baby girl in same room as son who was just over two years old. Daughter is now one year and still nursing twice a night. Both kiddos are in cribs, son sometimes wakes when she fusses for night feeding. What’s hard is letting her work it out to sleep train because we are disrupting sons sleep. So majority of time I cave, go in and nurse her for all our sanity and sleep desires. Their bedtimes are the same.

I’m JUST about to do this. I have a 3 month old, and an almost two year old -both boys, both in cribs and both sleeping well. I’m super nervous about it! Thank you for the tips!

I have 4 kids and have 2 kids in one room and 2 in another. My first set are school aged kids that are the same gender and they can’t sleep without each other now. My second set are boy and girl and they are not in school yet but get a long great. I will have my boy in his own room when one of them starts needing privacy.

What a brilliant idea to make the boys' room all new for both sons. The bunk bed is really cool. I am definitely in favor of same-sex roommates... but not so much in favor of rooming sons w/daughters. Great vid!

We are thinking about having our girls (2 and 4) share a room, mostly so we have an empty room for guests. My husband shared rooms with his brothers. And I know people who say it helped their adult kids get along better with people because you have to share a space and talk about issues. This really spoke to me because I always had my own room and college roommates were a real struggle for me. But, from what my friends say, a boy and a girl sharing a room is no good. They will eventually need their own rooms when they get older/hit puberty.

Yeah, I did a little research on this and at least in the UK the recommendation seemed to be that 9/10yrs old it’s time for boys and girls to have their own rooms. Highly doubt that’s an option for everyone though. But even if you have to share past that age being aware that things are different and trying to accommodate and plan for that probably still helps.

I don't have kids yet but when i was little, i shared a room with both my older brothers until i was about 4. I don't remember fighting at all. I know i got told off a lot because i never stopped talking and kept my brothers awake. When i was about 4 i got moved out of their room to my own little space in the house.

My boys are almost 7years apart and I have a baby girl 10 months, I’m not quite ready to put her in her own room because she’s nursing but nervous to put the boys together. They are on completely different schedules and one is a teenager... any advice?

My kids will be 4 years apart (still pregnant) if it is another boy I would like them to share a room. Any tips on how long I should wait to put them together?

Hey! I have 2 boys 5 years apart, and I waited until my youngest was sleep trained (@ 17 months since I was still nursing) What I ended up doing was put him to sleep before my older son. Then an hour later my oldest would go in and sleep. Eventually when he got used to it I was able to put them to sleep at the same time

Just the topic that I have been worrying about. I have two kids: a boy and a girl. I would love for them to share a room but in reality I don’t think that’s possible. We are planning to move to a 3 bedroom house but I also need a guest room. Really don’t know how to me it work.

Hello fellow only! New territory for me, we have 2 boys, age 4 and 2. Learning up on ways to move the littlest out of his crib in our bedroom and into the older brother's room/playroom. It'll be interesting because the youngest is still nursing a couple times a night so I'm just trying to see if I should wait for night time sleeping to move to brothers room and just share nap time now instead. Sorry for the run-on, I didn't get much sleep last night so I'm off my rhythm. 😆
