I FULLY hold producers responsible for how this season is panning out. And not in the sense that Jimbo is undeserving of praise, because let's be honest even with a stronger cast she'd still be top 2 frontrunners, but rather that I think producers deliberately went out of their way to cast a hodge-podge mix of queens under the guise of "Rudemption". They did not anticipate or account for the possibility of queens they assumed wouldn't do well in some areas actually (somewhat) delivering. The Vulture article makes it very clear that with Heidi out of the race, no one else comes close to holding a candle to Jimbo and that's why it appears like it's rigged to the same blatant level as AS5 with Shea Coulee. Except in that season it was very obvious because the top 5 were all strong competitors, with some outdoing Shea in certain challenges.

For everyone criticizing how heidi was trying to volley with kahanna, it’s the same thing as when Bianca was doing it with laganja. It’s the snatch game. That’s how it’s played. If you aren’t doing well, you’re more than fair game. Just like with roasts. Roasts and snatch game are staaaaaaples of drag race now. It’s why I would never even think of auditioning for drag race if I didn’t have a solid idea for both.

I think Jimbo is at an advantage in a way. Coming from another country and never having competed in a regular Ru season of drag race, it seems like she's not as tied to what the formula is to win All Stars. I think that's where Heidi's frustration came from. She had the most social media following, she paid all the right designers for clothes, she acted like a fool in the acting challenges, etc. but somehow it was enough for the judges and that's because you have someone like Jimbo putting such weird choices into the challenges.

Sounds like people are too sensitive and entitled to me. Play the damn game or go home. It’s really not that serious. She was only mad because she wasn’t doing well. So the problem wasn’t Heidi, it was that Kahanna wasn’t doing well. Get over it. Heidi did absolutely nothing wrong except try to volley with a sensitive ass queen with no sense of humor at all. its the polish and the level of growth for me aswell, like alexis was always polished, yes she did some rought looks, jaymes we didnt really get to know enough unless you following them on youtube wich i did, but i think the amount of differance between jimbo and the other girls is that she was very rough around the edges on her season, more so than the rest, originality and humour on another level but the polish was the worst of all the girls, now coming back he looks arent just great ideas, they are done so well, like look at the ''ass'' runway, jimbo did that stupid boobs on the butt look but it looked so polished and clean, in her original season it would of been a hot mess. i think thats why she seems so ahead cause shes had the most growth. not her looks back up her talent because shes slaaaaying the challenges. shes so funny and watchable, no queen has me screaming at the tv more than jimbo i laugh so hard.

Heidi really thought she deserved to win Snatch Game for being herself in a pirate costume with a wig/beard that aren't glued down. Kahanna was right to call her out for being nasty. We saw a glimpse of the real Heidi this season and that's very unfortunate for her.

Ok but hear me out, what’s worse: deafening awkward silence when your joke bombs flat, or somebody piping up to break the silence and take the wind out of it AND offering some opportunity for you to volley back. I think what Heidi did made Kahanna’s bad performance seem less cringy and uncomfortable to watch.

Regarding the article discussed in the beginning: I take issue with Bob & Jacob claiming that the "Talent Show" challenge was in Jimbo's wheelhouse, or as if it were easier for her to win that challenge over the other girls. If the challenge is a "Talent Show", if it's that open-ended and it's not specific to any one talent, it should be something ALL of them can succeed in. If you have talent, you should be able to show your talent in the Talent Show. Simple as that. To say that the challenge is designed for Jimbo or people like Jimbo to win suggests that Jimbo is more talented than the others. So which is it? Is Jimbo excelling and killing the game, or are the challenges designed in such a way that it's easy for her to win? Because I don't think the challenges she's won were just GIVEN to her. She still is killing it and has earned her wins. P.S. If Kandy mad, let her be mad. Kandy Muse STAYS bothered about something. If it weren't this, she would find something else to "pop off" about. Argue with the wall.

You're exactly right. There are a few queens who have gone outside the box with their talent shows (Tatiana's comes to mind), but it had been trending to play it super safe where you do a dance number to an original track and you won't go home. Jimbo comes in doing sht like throwing bologna at the judges panel and it sort of destroys that formula. Same with snatch game, the trend was to pick a historical figure or fictional character and then make them tell sex jokes or be crass. Jimbo came in and just played a little psychopath instead. I don't think it's necessarily that Jimbo is so wildly more talented than the rest, but she is more daring and willing to push the envelope.

There needs to be a rule set in place if they’re gonna do a talent show every season that they can’t just default to lip syncing.
