TWICE re-started the hallyu(korean wave) in japan back in 2016/2017 era along with BTS , and they were charting in japan like crazy , competing with local artists, thats why when you think about kpop groups Japanese releases you think about twice because they are that popular in japan

Seventeen is indeed very popular in Japan, just last tour they had a 12 dates at different Domes around 5 cities (that leg of the tour was a Dome Tour) and this next May they're having 4 encore concerts at 2 Stadiums in Yokohama (Nissan Stadium on the date of their anniversary) and Osaka They'll be the 2nd Boygroup to do so after TVXQ Twice too in June

Seventeen actually has one of my favourite Japanese discographies!! Also, as you've been checking out quite a bit of zerobaseone, I would definitely recommend looking at their Japanese debut Yura-Yura. They also did a first take of the in bloom Japanese version!! And if you are open to checking out another newish rookie group, xikers, a bg under kq ent(ateez is also in it) is definitely your way to go, way too underrated for their talend!! They are just finishing up the promotions for their latest comeback "we don't stop" and they incorporate SO many different genres and styles into their albums, just the tt are so vastly different. 100% worth listening to, they for sure are also one of the best performers of 5th gen and have an epic rapline!! Loved the video. Ya'll were great once again :D

Seventeen is indeed really popular in Japan. They even held 12 days dome tour in 5 cities in Japan alone last year with total audience over 500,000+ people. They will perform an encore concert again this May at Osaka and Kanagawa, which will be held in Nissan stadium, the second biggest stadium in Japan with over 70,000 capacity. I'm proud of them. I think they start to debut in japan at 2018? Since then, they actually released a japanese album in each year till today. So their japanese discography are kinda big too.

4:30 Seventeen are indeed incredibly popular in Japan. The Kpop groups who are the most popular in Japans probably goes: 1. BTS 2. TWICE 3. SEVENTEEN 4. Everyone else. BTS, TWICE, and SEVENTEEN run Japan in the K-pop scene.

For me the best japanese realeses kpop group are Twice, Seventeen, Treasure, TXT & Straykidz. they also the one who always top the japanese chart (fight with japanese local artist) everytime they released japanese songs cuz their songs also really good Many group realese their japanese singles/album & they did well/good too on chart but the group that i mention are always top it, not just 1 chart but all japanese chart like line music, billboard japan, rakuten etc.... specially i think Twice & Treasure (correct me if i'm wrong guys😅)

Seventeen performing at the Nissan Stadium in May as the 2nd Kpop group ever only after tvxq! They’re big BIG in Japan and that lies mostly in the fact that their Japanese discography has its own sound but is still very svt. They put as much effort in those songs as in their Korean ones. Their Japanese is so good too, especially Jeonghans!

Many K-pop fans may not know, but Seventeen's Japanese Songs are quite famous as well. From 2013-2024, only three K-pop groups have held their concerts at Nissan Stadium. It is the largest stadium in Japan and can hold up to 70k people. which only has TVXQ, Seventeen, and Twice

The lack of SHINee and Taemin on this list was criminal. SHINee have several albums in Japanese and so do TVXQ which have done super well. Also helps that they all speak Japanese too. So many songs to pick from honestly.

I miss exo too but I think they gonna have only one grp comeback bcz they are more focused on solo activities Suho gonna drop his album + drama and solo concert soon D.o has his comeback in may and solo concert and his drama under his own company Beakhyun is touring already and his gonna make his comeback in the summer under his own company that he created with Chen and xiumin (inb100) Chen is preparing for his album Xiumin album + drama Chanyeol solo début + drama Lay I think we gonna see him in this comeback with exo so it's really intense year for them ...
