Basically the biggest issue with RBW is the lack of promo they invest on Mamamoo and also how they don’t give them enough credit even though the agency still exists thanks to them. The girls always have to promote their own comeback on their own social media accounts. Hwasa’s last comeback was probably one of the worst tbh in promo. And it’s really sad to see how badly the girls are treated from that point of view when you know how much they work. And then RBW doesn’t acknowledge how famous Mamamoo is. They never made them do a world tour (instead they made their male group do it which is younger than mamamoo), they often don’t produce enough copies of albums because they think they won’t sell as much, etc.

I mean Hwasa just had a comeback. RBW isn’t good about English subtitles would be my complaint. The 1 k original channel has subtitles before their own company does.

Not sure what actually limited the promotions this year but I am thankful to their company for bringing these four talented artists together and also allowing them their creativity in their songs, performances and outfits etc. I don't think they would have got that much control in a larger company. Who knows maybe the pandemic has affected their small company financially over the past two years because Mamamoo haven't had that many performances as they normally do pre-covid and Mamamoo was and still is their most successful group. I don't think any of their other new groups are any where near the level of talent and respect that Mamamoo garnered early on in their careers for their pure vocal/rap talent from their seniors, juniors etc (As in every single member in Mamamoo is a main in everything because they are that talented and this is so rare in K-pop groups and singing live with stable vocals). So that may also be a contributing issue for a small company trying to figure out how to survive without their main artists if they all decide to end their current contracts once it's due? Regardless I think so far Wheein's solo MV, Mamamoo's where are we now MV and Hwasa's solo MV (Moonbyul's looks great too from the teaser) are amazing so at least they were able to focus on maintaining those MVs at top Mamamoo quality despite the unfortunate lack of promotions.

@@Ali-oe6bl the contract already has due, 3/4 of the members just renewed them. RBW isnt financially struggling at all since ONEUS, ONEWE, PURPLEKISS have been getting attention as well. RBW truly doesnt give credit to MAMAMOO, recently the CEO wanted a world tour for ONEUS but never made plans for MAMAMOO. Moomoos are still waiting for the restocking of Wheein's Magnolia album since 2018, MMMTV still hasnt updated when it usually should have the day after an MV releases. During Gogobebe and Hip era, RBW was able to give subtitles instantly but it's not consistent with the other videos.

Theyre not struggling, mmm alone made over 50% of their income last year. Then they had the audacity to compare mmm's last year's total income to the first half of 2021 They've also said they 'are taking steps to promote their other grps and are acquiring more IP' they've now announced that their less than 3 yr old grp will have a tour in the us all while moomoos this year have experienced album production issues, a million of fcs right before Hwasa's cb, bearly if any promotions for cbs -hwasa revealed the company had rejected JESSI's interview request without her knowledge, no subs within the week if release -intl moos personally translate them and send them to the company within 3 days at most, late if any announcements of their fts, solos, show appearances and their sns management is a mess this is just the some things cause of i keep going...

You're right, GOT7. During AAA last year, a staff thought there were 70 people bec it was so noisy. He said looling at them is like looking at a bunch of middle schoolers lol. BTOB are also known to be very noisy. They would even have singing battles with whoever is in the waiting room next to them. There was one time when Minho from Shinee is practicing, and they sang along with him hahaha

Lol! Love this! One of the many things I love about Mamamoo is that they have the vocal/rap talents but they also enjoy themselves regardless of whether they are practicing or performing on stage. This is how they have stable vocals while performing on stage, all the behind the scenes laughter and chaos! :)

Actually RBW isn't as great as it might seem, they basically spent this entire year trying to sabotage Mamamoo from giving no promo to neither Where are we now nor Mumumumuch, to making a very limited amount of albums...etc all so to reduce Mamamoo's impact since they were planning on going public by the end of the year and having one group bring in over 50% of their profits while all their other artists combined bring in 40% makes them look like a risky investment

Rbw in terms of musicality is fine, the problem is their marketing and the recent suspicious things they are doing. They don't invest in initial hype, they use fan subtitles for free and not hire their own (*for me that's the biggest red flag of them*) and they recently having problems w/ album manufacturing (*ONLY for Mamamoo*) which resulted to delays and less album sales, you wouldn't even believe it, they said it themselves that mmm's sale decreased this year so meaning they're not just relying on them, just to eliminate that weakness since they are going public with their stocks. They've been being shitty to mmm lately, they keep releasing statements that their company is NOT known as MAMAMOO'S COMPANY, that their main income wasn't from the group but then on the reports, Mamamoo is the main source of their profit 😂 they are so messy rn
