you could have a case like the zipo one on top the counter for the gb and gba or ds
@DoubleJumpVideoGames6 жыл бұрын
The one I have doesn't automatically turn unfortunately :/ it makes it so I can only put games on 3 sides because the 4th you can't see unless you're behind it lol

Idk if thjs has been asked/answered but I was wondering 1/ how often will you put out new stock 2/ how often will you change prices of items
@DoubleJumpVideoGames6 жыл бұрын
1.) I'll put out new stock every day, just depends how much I get I suppose. I'll put out whatever I can. 2.) I won't change prices ever. If I priced a game at a certain amount, that means I am OK with selling it for that. If a game goes up in value, then my customer has a chance of finding it for a good deal. If a price goes down, a customer can always ask if there is any wiggle room, and it just depends what its priced at, what I paid for it, what type of games it is, and how long I've had it. I will price new games as I get them, but I won't go back to old stock and re price.

siccooper good to know there's potential for people to find bargains. I hate when somehting goes up in price even just a few dollars and everywhere jacks up their prices

For the GBA games on the back counter just make a small sign using neon colored card pointing out that you have more GBA carts available for sorting through when asked. That should allow those looking for it not to miss it.

a sign is a good idea, I'll see what I can come up with
@dreamon32866 жыл бұрын
Maybe for those "loose" common gameboy games that will be in the tub behind the counter, you can print out a small sheet of paper and tape it to the case or the wall next to the case letting customers know that you have more games in the back and to just ask to see them.
@DoubleJumpVideoGames6 жыл бұрын
a few have suggested this, its a good idea!

Put the extra gameboy games in a binder inside hockey card pages
@DoubleJumpVideoGames6 жыл бұрын
I'm really not a fan of that way of storing them. Gamestar around here did that and I didn't enjoy looking through very much :/

You should line the inside of the glass case in front with led lights so it’s easier to see
@DoubleJumpVideoGames6 жыл бұрын
They have built in lights, but the cables are all cut and messed up. It looks pretty good in person, the camera makes it look a bit darker
@game_master_rukia6 жыл бұрын
one of my game stores does that with gameboy games having them on a shelf as overstock games
@DoubleJumpVideoGames6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they are just too easy to steal to allow people to dig whenever lol Gotta be at the counter

I think it would be really cool if you have in store leader boards for your arcade games and pin ball machines. Just a thought.

I wish they would track it by themselves, but unplugging and moving them around clears it out.

Where did you get the glass cases from , did you get them new , the cases to the left with nes games
@DoubleJumpVideoGames6 жыл бұрын
I got them from a thrift store that was closing down near my house. I also got the counter where the computer is from them, and the counter top that my dad used for the things behind the counter with the TVs on top, plus a bunch of peg board, and my plush rack!
@Jefftendo4 жыл бұрын

Hi Cooper everything is looking good it is all coming together well done Cooper. Just I little idea if you are interested you could put a little sign up on the top of the gameboy glass cabinet saying We do have more gameboy title Please ask a staff member to see them thank you. I don't know something like that. You will be very busy and that way you don't have to remember to tell customers every time and potentially loose a customer. Love the vlog Cooper I enjoy your vlogs I'm like a little puppy wait at the front door for his owner to come home and when the little puppy sees his owner he goes crazy running around the house. that is me waiting for your vlogs

Instead of moving the more expensive CD based games somewher eeles why not just take the discs out of the more expensive ones like you did with the ds games and have the cds behind the counter just for those more expensive titles? And keep the empty cases out on the floor? That way you can keep 1 case for all the GBA and game boy games and you can keep them all together instead of keeping the cheaper ones seperate. It seems like you have a lot of empty space on the very bottom of the case so maybe all the cheaper GBA games will fit down there?
@DoubleJumpVideoGames6 жыл бұрын
That empty space in the front glass cases is for SNES games, since I have over 450 of them. I'd rather leave the discs in as well for things like the portland retro gaming expo. I don't want to have to take them out for the store, then put them all back in to go to the expo for 2 days, then get back and take them all out again
@PartenJoe6 жыл бұрын
Not saying take every disc out of the case, just the more pricey ones that way the cases stay with the other games and it dosen't confuse people. And you don't have to make a seperate area for them since you say you're imlited on space.
