The most amazing thing is how Willa is so open and interested to everything around her and will try all the foods without even flinching. Digging into lemons! A truly remarkable girl! The world really is her oyster! And yes, Sicilian street food is essentially poor people's food. It's the real deal if you want to experience what ordinary families eat. It needs to be hearty for hardworking people!

Wow, what an interesting view on Italian street food. It seems very different from what you can find in the central and northern parts of Italy, lots of fat and calories, of course mainly seafood. I admire your open mindedness when it comes to unknown ingredients and by Willa's appetite you can see you are good role models ( my grandchildren are much pickier !). I love your videos , thank you for sharing !

Medetarian food is always good. I would dive into any kind of seafood, I love it. Couldnt watch it without a watering mouth. I really envy you. Risa, when do you publish all the recipes. I am sure you already banned the bath room scale. Poor Willa, just get lemon and a dry bread looks like prison dishes with bread and water only(in the former days) and still smiling, laughing, giigling. I already asked in a former vid: when does Willa get her own cat ? It seems she loves animals and its nice when kids grow up with animals to find respect to them. My mum always said: Quäle nie ein Tier zum Scherz, denn es fühlt wie du den Schmerz. Does your landlord already has a feeding station or birds nest in your garden ? Wathing them for Willa better than tv.

oh what a wonderful video of awesome Palermo! I have never been there, but I tasted original arancini and loved them! And Willa...... okay let me give you my debut as a fortune teller: Willa will study and become a veterinarian. As a gourmet she will open up a five star restaurant for cats and doves, because seeing "happy tummy animals" is the most satisfying pleasure for her. Pet owners will love this restaurant and trust Willa's recipes, because they know she is a vet. People will come from far away just to spend some time in the next door hotel, which is owned by Willa's husband. (A Dogwhisperer) and watch their happy pets. 😉 Edit: Oh my magic sphere shows something additional: After the pet owners see their beloved pets satisfied, they head down the road, aiming to "Risa's & Tanner's", a restaurant with the subtitle "21 Treasures From 7 Continents"!

I really enjoy every video of you so much - and with a smile on my face, I think I should add the typical german reaction to them because I haven‘t seen it yet: I hope Willa will be fine in some years with being in all the videos- children are often very rude to each other and I hope there won‘t be any „mobbing“ when she will be about 14 years old…. Just the absolut typical german comment, i enjoy the video very much!

The ingredient that gives the arancina that yellow/orange color, is actually saffron. I was in that same place just a few weeks ago: I did go back home for my birthday and, when I go back to Palermo, no matter what time of the year, one of the first thing i do, is going and get some pane e panelle, o panino ca meusa, long story short: I guess I am glad that finally, Palermo is Not famous for the Mafia but for its beautiful places, its good people and its wonderful food.

@@OurStorytoTell Hi guys, yes I am, from Palermo. I remember when all those little shops at "O Capu" (that is what we call the Capo Market in dialect in Palermo) used to be small dismissed warehouses, until the end of the 90s when young entrepreneurs started to transform them one by one into what you have seen. You guys are REALLY adventurous foodies! I wouldn't expect your openness, having experienced some USA visitors in Europe. However, don't worry about too much "grease" and "fat"; the secret is to eat all sorts of food in moderation and you will have a balanced diet.
