It is one of the best things we can do in life is to be gentle and kind to ourselves. We should be able to say. "If I wasn't me, I'd want me for a friend". That is the ultimate self-compliment. Feel well soon, Morgan 😊❤

Thank you so much for this video. I have struggled with low self worth all of my life, and I am now 68 years young. I do find it very hard to like myself, but your words have helped. I always put others before myself, and then get very upset when they do not show any care of love back to me. But I know I am a very sensitive person, and do not want to change that, as it is who I am. I care deeply about respecting other people, and animals. I am so pleased for you that Landon and Ru came home early, as you needed them back - your family are home safe for Christmas, thank goodness. Thank you for all your hard work that is involved in making your wonderful videos, of true life, the ups and the downs. Happy Christmas to the three of you, and may your days be merry and bright, and full of love and hope. Blessings from West Devon, England, and Jilly & Madge. xxx

Morgan, this is a sweet video. It's so important to have your cozy days at home with self care. I made several batches of citrus slices this year to hang on the tree as ornaments, as well as garland. They were a great gift for family and friends. I also keep a mason jar in my refrigerator filled with the dried slices so I can simply take one or two out, put in a mug and pour hot water over it for a citrus tea. It also resonated with me when you said how you were sad after your mom left. I'm 65 and my mom is 91 and I'm still sad when I leave her because there's absolutely nothing like a mother's love. Everything you do is creative, cozy, and inspirational. That greeting you received from your dog and Landon being so happy to see you is the best! Thank you for addressing self talk. Positive self talk is so important. I love how you create your own happiness. Making our homes cheerful and warm is life changing. I hope you feel better soon. xo

So touched by today’s video. I know you’re “just living your life”, but let me just say, I am so blessed by the things you share. Your chat about self-talk, and Sarah’s message about bring enough, oh boy, today that was a perfectly timed message. I’ve been fighting my own messiness, and the clock’s ticking to get the dining room table ready for Christmas dinner. I was ranting at myself, I could hear myself bring over the top and unreasonable, but I didn’t stop. I was avoiding going to bed and trying to refill my tank with Christmas shows and your Vlogmas, and the sense of comfort, peace and the wisdom of the words tonight are sending me off to sleep and into tomorrow so much better than I was. You are fulfilling a purpose you may not have known you had! On a lighter note, excellent movie choices! I hope you’re feeling better.

One of the things I say that helps me to love myself and be strong is " everything is temporary in this life." So... like with my really bad chronic illness days and nights that I cannot sleep, I will know that even though I may lose one or two nights of sleep, in a few more days and nights I will feel better and wake up feeling refreshed again. Then when this happens I tell myself, "see... it's always okay again!!"

I hope you feel better soon, Morgan. My wonderful, loving husband of 35 years has always been able to see through my brave faces and offers me comfort even when I don’t know I need it. ❤

I love your self love for future Morgan. That's such a good way to motivate yourself and be kind to yourself at the same time. I'm going to start doing it as well. I do a lot of negative self talk and I can't bring myself to say complimentary things. I think I could think about my future self with more kindness. It would be a start.

Oh Morgan, your letter at the end got me straight in the heart 🥲❤. I can't tell you how many times that has happened to me and it's really such a loving blessing and luxury to have a person in your life you feel so unbelievably comfortable with ❤. I hope you are healing quickly, thank you for still uploading, and showing up for vlogmas. (Although please take a break if you need one, we all love you!) Also your intro/preview speech was exactly what I needed to hear today so thank you ❤ To Sarah, you are a beautiful wonderful person ❤ This time of year can definitely bring up feelings of not measuring up. Maybe we are comparing ourselves to everyone online, or even comparing ourselves through rose-colored-glasses of how good things use to be. What a beautiful reminder that we are so much more than we often give ourselves credit for. This message went along perfectly with Morgan's words about loving oneself.

I have no choice but to continue the caregiving of my husband, ill or not....but I always get through it. Thank God tomorrow is a NEW DAY ☀️ You made me feel better, knowing I'm not alone. ❤❤❤

Thank you so much for your beautiful loving words, Sarah. You are also enough and we love you too❤. And Morgan, I'm so happy to hear that Landon and Roo came home earlier and that you were given the time and space to be vulnerable with those you love and cry...sometimes it's needed to just let it all out. Sending you big hugs, friend.

This was such a sweet video...what a beautiful soul you are, Morgan, and an inspiration to all of us! As for Sarah's message, it spoke to my heart, as I am in a situation with my family in this moment, where I am feeling that 'not enough' state. Your words were so encouraging and came at just the right moment. Thank you for the beautiful message. Hoping you feel better soon, Morgan!

Sending all the sunshine (physical & metaphorical) to you from Oki ☀️✨. Your dried citrus turned out beautifully I’m looking forward to seeing you deck the halls with it.😅😂🥰 Thank you for the reminder of the importance of cultivating a loving inner voice & thank you Sarah for the lovely message. I’ve been feeling anxious, thinking I’ve fallen short this Christmas (unsure why, I’ve met or exceeded my festive goals specifically baking lots of treats for hubby to share w/his squadron so it remains a mystery 🫤☹️) The acts of kindness toward your future self is such a wonderful concept I’m going to try to as adopt the habit/mentality for myself. 🥰

You sounded different in this video and I don't mean a nasally voice lol, I mean the tone, you sounded relieved despite being sick, you didn't stress about it, I'm glad because in the past situations like this seem to really affect you. Please celebrate the fact that you have learned to cope with the imperfections of life ❤. Take care and get well soon 😊. P.S. The fact that you "fell into pieces" once that Landon and RoO arrived doesn't change what I stated in this comment.

I still struggle with negative eelings about myself. The feelings are so strong that self care feels like something wrong or me to do. I have struggled with this most of my life as a result of being bullied a lot in school. I hope that one day I can say goodbye to those negative feelings, but I don't know how.

Morgan, it is absolutely ok if you skip a day or two or more of vlogmas, you can cumulate footage if you want that, because for us it's more important to know that you are well and not sick and exhausted. It is a busy and chaotic time of year so we will be ok as long as you are ok.
