I went back stage and there was a Hummer with a basketball court in the back of it .a 5 foot hookah that they were smoking tree out of, And all the hotdogs you can eat .it was like heaven. And then there they were" Sick jaken " "big Duke"and other dudes ." Sick jacken had his back to me.but I saw he had a fine as lady sitting on his lap .and he had on the biggest 501 pants I ever seen some one wear ,black locs and all .weed was not even in the legal for medical .so it was taboo as fuck to be there and at that age I had just started smoking. Back in the 80's on satudays or sundays at about 1 or 2 AM i use to have a front row seat from my building when rival gangs use to come get off their cars and go at it blasting with each other. If cops showed up it was usualy like 2 hours after The shooting was nothing new to me since i had spent my first 7 years of my life in EL SALVADOR only difference was here were mostly guns maybe riffles or shot guns , over there it was heavy artillery that can blow up half a house or entire walls. Wish Vlad would have asked more about Big Duke & Sick Jacken's FLOW on their self-titled album. I haven't heard anyone flow like that before or since - regardless of race, regardless of hood/bougie, regardless of anything. Where'd they come up with it? The dramatic pauses, the emphasis on syllables that fall before or after the beat . . . that wasn't just drugged-out teens acting random. That was a deliberate, fully-evolved style - on a debut album no less.

Some residents who lived in the hood will talk and act like gang members and some even have more cora than actual gang members.
