If you want your car to perform and win events, you have to do maintenance, valve adjustments, oil changes , all the things that come with a high caliber of a car and engine. You can't take an exotic engine an just thrash on it and beat it and expected to perform at its peak, and win events without taking care of it.....

Im having serious disappointment issues with them wanting to drop the smx on mullet. Its 200% their own fault for its not finishing 4 times in a row. Hell, Steve's build is so impressive it survives this long with TWO broken main caps and 4000 hp... prolly the most reliable part of the car is that engine and they want to do something different. *le sigh*

@@stephenlea5765…And the massive tyre shake problems in testing following that, and the beating it subjected the whole powertrain to. 🤔 If Mullet was the heaviest car being shoved along in the 6’s by an SMX I might wonder about that as causing the damage but it isn’t, so good old fashioned abuse seems to be the likely key factor. Going on to run a 7 on 7 holes, after a 170 mile drive when it’s that hurt and not atomising itself is as much of a testament to how tough the units are as anything could be. I honestly think that Cleetus needs to have a sit down with himself and have a good hard honesty session.

With Cleetus it’s all about the views on YT and the merch sales, that’s his business, nothing wrong with that and Garret seems like a great guy, look at the wonderful team of people he has around him and how long most of them have been there, but… in the end if Cleetus ran mid 6s day in and day out with no drama it would be lousy YT content. I’m not saying Cleetus and crew are making any drama on purpose, but when they have the lows, then it makes the highs that much more interesting. I very much enjoy all of these creators content.
