I did the math on the last minigame. At the start of the game, Mario and Luigi appear to be starting their race above the Moon. Now, the Moon is 238,900 miles from Earth. And it takes Mario and Luigi about 13 seconds to get from the moon to the Earth. That means that they would have to traveling at almost 240,000 miles an hour, which would cause them to burn up. Whenever I play Mario Party 3 and we include Luigi as an NPC, he starts out trying to get stars (for perhaps two or three turns), and then ends up just wandering around the map. If there's a star, it's a safe bet he's nowhere near it. Luigi is the least competitive character whenever I play Mario Party, and he still will somehow get second, or even first if I'm having a bad day. There's obviously a conspiracy at play here.

The Luigi Wins series is hilarious. It's just too bad that most of the Mario Party games are elaborate re-skins of random number generators. You have no control over whether you win such games, and no strategy matters; you're just as good doing nothing as you are trying. Much of the Luigi Wins series is slanted for humor (only showing the times the RNG favors Luigi by fluke), but it often points out just how many mini-games (particularly card-pickers and the like) are actually non-games where the player is just an observer. That's just like playing snakes and ladders... it's fine when you're 3 years old, but it rapidly becomes inappropriate for older players. The few mini-games that involve real choice or skill often look fun... others look painfully tedious.

That 4th mini game at 5:11. I don't even remember that mini game surprisingly, and this Mario Party is the one I've played the most by far since it is the very first one I ever owned. I previously rented Mario Party 2 and 3 when they were the newest ones and Mario Party 5. My friends and I used to love playing Mario Party 8 so much. Especially at that city board where it's kind of like Monopoly! That mini game when you use the scissors to cut the rope is so intense. It sucks that it is pure chance really, but my friends and I get pretty tense playing that and waiting in anticipation to see if we get launched or walk away. It's so obvious the computer is on easy. Of course the description says it is. It's just so funny to see some of the mini games you can win against them doing nothing. That one at 8:40 with the bombs it should be impossible to win that doing nothing unless the opposing team did nothing. lol! But the easy computer proves that theory wrong. lol! Dang. I don't even remember that last mini game either. I guess I didn't play very many duel mini games back when I owned this game. Also, I haven't played this game for several years now. Hilarious video and this surprisingly brings back some fun memories as well as showing mini games I don't even remember.

I remember this was the very first video that I ever watched when it comes to Luigi Wins by Doing Absolutely Nothing. Then I watched Omega Tyrant doing those same kind of videos through Super Smash Bros, then I eventually found out that there were so many users agreeing on Luigi Winning by Doing Absolutely Nothing, to do the point where it became a very meme and common genre. The real credit goes to KlydeStorm for starting it all though. I don't know where KlydeStorm is today, but (s)he should totally consider himself/herself lucky that his/her random idea suddenly became a huge success across the internet :)
