Sid Meier's Civilization (1991) Space Race in

I got an email this morning that my WR was beaten. I have my doubt that the run was done with 3000 cycles like according to the category rules at the time.
If you compare it to my last run, the wait time between turns is almost none - this one is pretty much the same as with totoja's run, but not the previous runs at 3000 cycles.
I'd vote for removing the cpu speed limit rule for the emulator - the speed only affects the time between turns, and the difference the host hardware has is likely to be negligible.

Does launching with a 0% probability work on every difficulty or is it just a matter of needing 2fuel/propulsion and 1 habitat pod with some structure?

I have *no* idea. I just learned about this today, I thought you'd need solar panel + life support modules too. I think one fuel / rocket pod works too like I used to with my old strat
