Man, this is an absolute treat, AJ! 😁 It's so awesome that Sid made an appearance on the HOM (my balls sunk into my pelvis from the absorbtion of this video's sheer awesomeness, haha). I love hearing Sid's stories behind the masks, and how he acquired them (seriously, how did he not get Dean Car's mask? I could've sworn, I saw him wear that same mask in a performance from '99 or 2000. It's been so long ago, so my memory is probably way off), his alter egos: Fuck You, Fuck Me, and Shark-Man, as well as their discreet distribution of samplers at Ozzfest. 😆 As a life-long Slipknot fan -- they were/are my first favourite band, ever since the age of four, when I heard Spit It Out on the Return of the Rock compilation CD, back in 2000. I have at most a dozen copies of their S/T album (including the digipak, cassette, the 10th anniversary release, and a Walmart pressing without the parental advisory on the cover -- it was still unedited, and the Surfacing lyrics weren't removed from the inlay, either. GG, Walmart. 😉); it's just one of those albums that I couldn't pass up the opportunity of owning any time I was at a mall, a big-box store, or a Best Buy. I also wore out my VHS copy of Welcome to our Neighbourhood, haha. The DVD version is really cool! At the end of the video, there's a music video of Scissors accompanied by miscellaneous footage from the era. Is the cassette copy of the first album with Satone an original? That's so cool, I didn't know that copy existed. =-) I wonder how much the sampler cassettes would go for these days. It's so stale that they weren't allowed to freely distribute them at Ozzfest. My 8th grade health teacher still has his sampler tape from when he saw them at Ozzfest; he said that they threw them into the audience after their set. I can only imagine the audience jonesing for those samplers, after they witnessed Slipknot's devastating set, hehe. A TrollCast would be so awesome! Also, sleep paralysis demons be like: 51:19-51:35 😂
