Hello.. Bade Khan saheb was or rather I would say is an institution.. taan jaise Khan saheb karte hain uske piche God gift,years kf practice and type of voice yeh sab matter karta hai.. Once I also had this question how go fast taan .. I think the oy way is avar aap bol k saath tez bol payenge with gamak then aakar mai bhi fast hosakta hai..toh pehle bol ko sahi se practice kare , alankar practice karein.. jitna speed aapp har alankara ko bolke practice karenge utna jyada possibility banta hai tez aakar taan kaa.. aur being a singer sur mai rehkar gaana bhi important hai.. fast taan karoge aur sur mai nhi rahega toh kese hoga phir.. truly to sing like Ustad Ji is quite difficult..whole life is less.. but still he was a human n u too are a human.. unki tarha gaane kliye sacrifices chahiye .. kathor saadhna.. If you make 'Re' as the' Sa', then all the note references change like in the present case Ustadji has sung. This is called Moorchhana. It is like changing the origin on a graph plot. The point references change but the points themselves don't shift. Hope this analogy explains.

Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Kha' saab was famous for his morchana. Its essentially a method of scale changing where you use a different swara while the sound remains the same. This way, he has rendered even the Auduv swara Malkauns with all seven swaras by starting 'sa' at the kharaj 'dha'.

What a beautiful bhoopali , i am tired of bhoopali sounding bland and mundane usually. Too much gravitas and lack of character .. This bhoopali has all the elements , peace , joy , laughter , sombreness , peace and restlessness. If bgak would have been a contemporary artist , people woulr have called him out saving he is showing off or doing gimmicks. But the core elements of patiala, shining in his gayaki , the fluidity in his taans , the boltaans , the chatak , the minute improvisations , the unique laykari makes the raga alive. No bhoopali comes closers to this.
