And let the quality of their work speak for them... My two cents. For the film itself, for all it s merits the film can't shake off it's comparisons with top gun Maverick... And that is part of the problem.... The only way for Indian cinema to become truly great is to look inwards for rooted content....

I myself live in a good third tier city, my family income is obviously above 25k but I never got a chance to even visit an airport. I was actually bit skeptical if indians would really be able to relate with such a movie based around action fighter jets. However, Gunjan Saxena pulled it off , while there were less scenes in an actual jet but more about her personal story. Whereas I enjoyed top gun maverik because I have seen global cinema and video games enough, while i can't say that for the huge chunk of the population.

YRF wil only make Tiger vs Pathaan if War 2 is a huge blockbuster. There needs to be a reason for Pathaan to fight Tiger. So if it is made then only after 2025.

37:06 Its weird that I have seen the song that Sid said was cut from the movie. I watched the movie in Seattle. Not sure why it was different than what was shown in India. I talked about that "Bekaar Dil" song coming out as a sore thumb in my review as well. And i also loved the same dialogue that Baddy mentioned. 😂

VFX of the movie is good but the story and portrayal of enemy is soo utterly stupid the final fight scenes seems like a literal joke. Atleast make your antagonists somewhat competitive, if you are spending this much money on vfx focus somewhat on the story too

the decision to remove the song was silly. they lost good decent audience who would have been attracted just by the song

Indian audiences need over the top crude jingoism like gaddar 2 or star value ott antics like pathaan and jawaan. Or even worser toxic senseless alpha male nonsense like animal. A more or less grounded and focussed air combat movie is too classy for them.. sad

The only reasonable explanation in the comments.

Majority of indian audiences don't understand what good film is. But you should ignore it and keep on doing the good work like fighter

Thanks, BR for asking him the question about 'Jai hind' at the climax. I also felt out of pitch. felt cringe for a while. who will deliver dialogues in the middle of the war for a long time?
