I am a huge Siddharth fan. This interview is very unlike his other interviews. Unsure why he seems disinterested/disengaged even though the interviewer is asking competent questions. Maybe just tiredness from promotion. Either way, great job by the interviewer to not lose confidence, and wish Takkar the best of luck - really looking forward to the new innings of Siddharth!

A few people have already mentioned it and they are spot on. Usually Siddharth is very interesting and articulate in interviews, the one with BR on this very channel ahead of Aval comes to mind. But in this one, he comes across very disinterested. Perhaps this particular interview was at the end of a long list of promotional assignments or he wasn't keeping well. But it's really unfortunate and the energy levels are pretty damn low. The anchor appears very well prepared and asks good questions.

we spend so much time trying to read into everything. we pick up on things and work real hard for our patterning to mean something not realising it works only if one is privileged over the other. eg. this interview vs that, genuine interviewer vs disinterested (because he may be tired) actor it brings to mind a scene from a workshop i once attended where a guy just lost it when people began deconstructing an incident, "why does everything have to mean something. let it just be."
