SADA BAHAR Shanker-Jaikishen were superb in the 50 and 60s. Imagine creating so many immortal tunes, many times all hits in any single film. Their team with Shailendra and Hasrat Jaipuri and assistants Dattaram with Sebastian were tops. They created all these songs from nothing but sheer TALENT. NO WONDER those days are called golden age of HINDI CINEMA. ALL the singers were also unique. Lata ji, Asha ji, Geeta Dutt ji, Suman Kalyaanpur ji with Mukesh ji, Mohd Rafi,Kidhore Kumar ji, Mannadey ji, Talat ji and Hemant Kumar ji.

Yes no doubt that Shardaji is also a talented singer but she joined the SJ team at a very late stage whereas other I.e. Shailender Hasrat Jaipuri Lataji and Rafiji were remained as a part of core team from the beginning of career of SJ.

However, l have watched the whole program in one go only and only to watch the highly highly gracious lady and presenter Smt. Mangala Khadilkar for her style of presentation. Another USP was their compositions were so catchy and liked by masses and classes equally.in addition to that be it orchestra arrangements,creation of preludes and Interludes,use of chorus , back ground score,title songs or theme songs shankar Jaikishan were the Trend setters in all respect.shankar Jaikishan were indeed miles ahead of their contemporaries in all the department of music and they proved it time and again.unki baat hi alag thi aur unka andaz bhi juda tha rather in short I must say that the whole team of shankar Jaikishan was simply superb and genius to the core ,the music composers duo were par excellence who said to have devine touch in their composition.

Unique music by Shankar Jaikishan If u listen to a song composed by Shankar jaikishan ,u will also hear a tune being played along with the song in the background.This pararrel tune is created with violin,danish guitar,piano or piano accordian or mouth organ.This pararrel tune for a "background for a song technique" known as as a counter melody was introduced in SJ music by Sebastian ,known as a music arranger for the music composers.The music conductor for them was Dattaram. U will such parrell tunes from 1950s.Film like Brahmachari,Dil ke jero main by Rafi where piano will be in forefront &a lot of violins will be played in the background. Similarly the accordion will be played in different, unconventional manner by them.For ex in Shree 420,accordian will be played in a different way Aaja sanam madhuru where in Sangam ,it will be in normal way in Har dil jo pyar khare ga,starting music. Later on seeing the brilliance of D' Souza, music directors like SD. Burman, OP. Nayyar& Salil Choudry called him. But the association with SJ was 23 years with Dattaram & immortal songs were created. Golden Era💐
