I’m torn between the starchild tarot first edition or the moon child tarot shadow edition. The old me would just buy both but I’m really trying to tame down the spending however before I do so, I figure I’d knock a few decks off my deck list first, lol. Buy before a no buy, makes perfect sense..😎 I really love the starchild and I think that’s the one I’m going to go with. The moonchild shadow edition is gorgeous though..oh decisions, decisions. Thank you for this video though! I love side by sides to see the different cards all laid out together.

Very thankful for this; it helps me a lot to see the changes from original moonchild. The original had me conflicted both over style and choice made in card depictions and i think much of it was addressed in the new addition.

Oh wow, I didn't know about the shadow version. I am eager to see it. I have the original Moonchild, which is luxe. I just got a mass market deck with her art that is gorgeous: A Yogic Path. Thanks for this comparison video. 🙏💖

I do not have the Yogic Path deck but I have heard wonderful things about it! Do you find that's a deck you use often in your practice? And yes, the shadow edition is beautiful! I like cards in both of the decks and would love to pick and choose to create the perfect Moonchild Tarot! But the backs do not match so I'm not sure my Virgo self would be able to deal with that! 🤣

@@RootsAndWaves I haven't used the Yogic deck yet! I got it and her book called Discover Your Dharma at the same time, but I've been too busy reading the book to consecrate the deck for use. The book is excellent so far, although I'm no expert on this subject at all.

The fist edition of the shield deck is not lift like the rest of hers and I was disappointed by that. Is the new brown shadow edition buttery soft? Disregard. Lol. You answered my question at the end.

That was an eye opener, lol. Thank you. I just got the Moonchild Shadow as I thought that would be my favourite (I don't have the other decks but saw many walkthroughs of them). I'm shocked - I think that The Starchild is actually my favourite - it has darker colours and is more earthy. I also love many cards in the original Moonchild better (especially the major arcana and court cards). I wish I could pick my favourites from all these decks and make my own tarot deck. I think it would be nearly perfect one as the art is wonderful...

Oh, picking and choosing cards from each deck to make it personally appeasing sounds lovely! If the backings were the same I may consider that.
