Very smooth operator. On a lot of Amrep videos you see the cans get whiplash on the way down lol. And how gently the cans get set down in one smooth motion on the release.

Very nice. I remember trying to finish the routes before packing out, otherwise we had to go back and finish with a 3rd load that day.

Unfortunately I wasn’t lucky enough to finish route on this load, had to go back for about 150 more cans after dumping

Is there a separate engine that runs the can lift arm. ? And larger engine that runs the truck drivetrain.? Sounds like one revs up for the arm while the big one just idles till truck goes forward? Thanks for the great videos! 🚛

Glad you enjoy them! There is only 1 engine on trucks out here these days. The “pony motors” were more common back in the 70s-90s out here
