I can't wait till the actual song comes out! But this acoustic version is so beautiful! I absolutely love this!! I'm immediately putting this on my playlist when May 3rd rolls around! :D And I also love the actual meaning! cause I lived it lol it's literally about liking someone or having a crush on that someone and the "side quest" is starting a relationship with them. And when you're around someone that makes you feel happy, nervous and fidgety you just can't help yourself feeling that way towards them. You just don't know what else to say except feel it in your heart. This acoustic version feels dreamy and imaginative in a way. But I can be wrong, and maybe "Side Quest Song" could actually be about slaying dragons and doing medieval things. lol But honestly, I could listen to this on repeat and never get tired of this. Idk how you did it? But this perfectly describes my first relationship when I was 16 at the time. Makes me wanna cry happy tears. 🥲
