Everyone tends to point out that Paul McCartney recorded some of his White Album tracks on his own, but i think its important to note how supportive he was to the other Beatles during the sessions for this album.

I like that you guys use the word "percolating" a lot when referring to a song going through its gestation period, it's a word that doesn't come up in conversation very often and it conjures a lovely image of the creative mind brewing some musical coffee.

I"ve ALWAYS heard Paul singing the bass on "I Will"! It sounds quite Beach Boys to me, especially the weirder, more psychedelic and rougher "Smiley Smile".

"A Beginning" makes more sense at the beginning of "Good Night".

Say what you will about “Don’t Pass Me By”, it seems John borrowed a bit of Ringo’s melody for his “Crippled Inside”.
