Do you happen to have any video from the backside? I’m still trying to learn how, or where you get enough leverage to push out

I admire where you are i life with your profession... I too myself should also bee somewhere close to what your doing after all my successes and credentials but the auto paint industry is a very costly field. Soon as I take a job, I already have expenses and waste and customers do not understand the technicalities when you explain to them why your charging them the price you estimated. Although pdr is more profitable, the tools are verrrry expensive in retrospect to a new pdr tech making his first investments. At the same time, pdr is juuuust like bodywork, but the "metal work" prtion of bodywork where you have your hammers and pullers except you dont stop until its perfect bcs there is no body filler involved to perfect it the rest of the way. I just started pdr right before the new year and soooo far, My (entry level grade) cheap pdr tools have made me money but I have also been breaking them as I go and replacing them with name brand pdr tools as I make profit. But the better I get at pdr the MORE warn out my tools get and the more expensive the tools I need are bcs of having to upgrade to more reliable tools. $700 gets you the two most top end clear gun and base gun that will make you lots of money for the next 20 yrs vs $700 in pdr tools is barely skimming the surface on what you need and that amount of tools STILL does not guarantee that youll be able to fix the majority of dents that come your way. HERES THE REAL QUESTION... Where does the future lay? will paint die out bcs of vinyl wraps or something beyond paint which will put painters out of work leaving behind just PDR techs? OR...... Will paint advance in the future and PDR will die out bcs of cars being make of impact resistant plastics? ooooh good question right????? LETS HEAR THEM COMMENTS!!!!

Well nobody knows. However I think it will be 10-15 years before that happens, “if” it happens. I thought that in the early 90’s when Saturn came out. Too much money in the steel industry to let all the cars go to composite. But who really knows. Thanks again for watching. 😉

i've tested some sidekicks like that, wondered how good to handle these. as a bodyman these sidekicks can save u much time and great leverage

I’m surprised they have not got rid of that handle.

do you think the tip should be just a little longer?
@denttime3 жыл бұрын
Fortunately no because then you wouldn’t be able to get down a window on doors. But thanks for asking.
