There are other ways it can be used but this is the standard use within English. Walking until I jumped. I wasn't able to drink until I was 18 The shop is open 'til 9PM (until can be shortened to 'til). You rarely use until at the start of a sentence unless you're talking about Until in the language sense rather than using it as a connective or descriptor.
