Also some countries and states don’t allow that. I live in Australia and you have to be in your L’s for atleast 6 months and you can get your L’s at 16 but can’t get your license till your 17. You also need to have like 10 hours of driving at night and like 200 hours of driving during the day. Depending on your state you also need to have atleast 8 paid professional lessons which Can cost anywhere between $90 to $140. Shittt is expensive.

@@charlotte5922 Probably for a good reason, having experience of different times and weathers is crucial. Only learning how to drive in summer will produce terrible drivers in icy winters. Experience and confidence is key and 1 lesson every week for 6 months is much better than 14 lessons in 2 weeks

@@elisemaddison4035 I mean, I’m not mad about about. Because have your license isn’t something you deserve it’s a reward. I also think for Australia specifically we have such a huge “Hoon” culture and drinking while driving culture. I mean it is so sad, but pretty much everyone I know, knows someone who has died from a drunk driver or because they were intoxicated themselves. Driving should be treated with respect and it does annoy me when people don’t treat it so.

One time in Driver Ed class we had this girl that couldnt drive if her life depended on it and me and my buddy were in the back seat with her and the teacher in the front. We're just driving down the highway speed limit 65 and he tells her to slow down make the next right and she just slams on the brakes and stops in the middle of the highway because there was like a stick that had fallen off the tree laying in the road she was supposed to turn on and she freaked out We got rear-ended immediately It was like a 4 car pile up. I never rode in the car during someone elses lesson ever again😂😂😂

For context to my uk friends, in the states, there is a break pedal on the instructors side. So the clip where the black man flew forward was because he pressed the brake to show his seatbelt wasnt on. They teach you that as the driver you are reaponsible for everyone in the vehicles saftey. So you must make sure their seatbelts are on. The student failed to do so. They often do little things like that here to test you.

It sounds so much less stressful to do all the driving in one go, in Australia we have to do 100 hours of documented driving (including10 night hours) before we are allowed to take the practical test. Spent years getting the hours up as I didn't have family who could teach me and driving lessons are 70$ an hour which wasn't happening for 100 hours lol.

yah i remember JJ and cal video on training for JJ's driving test it was funny. I fail a lot of times but on the written one than i passed both written and the on road one both on my birthday. What's funny is people are saying people need to re take their driving lessons as to be fair where i'm at certain time of days and the weather times people do suck at driving and its not just the older ones the young ones you have to be more careful around. Like some people these days just don't remember the rules of driving. For example long truckers they always have to take more than 2 lanes to turn into the lane they have to go cause how wide they have to turn and most people stop for them but others still go and almost got hit by the truck. Than its the round a bouts and turning to slow on a turning late traffic light.
