I loved star rush when I was younger! I don’t really know why some people disliked it, I personally really liked the whole “move wherever you want” thing and the “everyone moves at the same time thing” was cool but I feel that one could’ve been done better

@@thepainpanda7681 yeah, as a kid I played this game so much that I won against master difficulty, my strategy was to make the most allies first because in the boss fight allies are a big deal, except against dry bones, one ally is enough for dry bonrd

@@Doumdoum_06 Star Rush was a beloved childhood game of mine! I loved the concept but it needed some polish to be excellent. Even then, I enjoyed it a lot. I am PRAYING that nintendo does something unexpected and announces a port or something.

As someone who considers myself a pro and veteran at this game (because of how many times my family forced me to play the normal board mode and rhythm mode with them) I agree that the partner boards are underrated and probably my favourite mode in this game. It's mainly because of how many new items that are introduced and they're really fun to experiment with. It's a bit refreshing to see more strategising in partner boards than normal boards but it still carries that "Super Mario Party' feel since allies are still broken and found it ridiculous when the 4 allies Casey had still got him the star even when him and Dani got the worst roll possible. The strategising starts to fade away and doesn't apply when you get near a star space. Rolling becomes a 50/50 since, depending on how far away you are, any odd or even number will get you there. It doesn't matter what dice or item you use, you just have to hope that you and your friend don't screw it up. Lastly, to spare the trouble of claiming a space with every number you roll, therefore making a long route to your destination, you can just press the x button (right joy-con) or the right direction button (left joy-con) when pointing at your desired space and the game will give you an automatic route to speed up the process, only do this if you have no allies or coins to pick up on the way. Speaking of coins, every KZbinr I watch always seems to think the red coins are bad, whereas in reality they actually give you 5 coins. It was still nice to see you guys try this mode out and hope you give the other boards a try. Congrats to the two underdogs taking the cake🎂🏆

I honestly prefer Super Mario Party over Mario Party Superstars (only party games I have) simply for the stupidest reason, the UI and sound effects are cleaner, as well as the modes.

Pro tip, to get the other characters like donkey Kong or dry bones, you have to play through all the various game modes and the story mode I'm fairly certain, I kinda wish it was like other Mario Party games where you buy those doc characters in a shop of some sort. 😢
