The only way to differentiate the cake from the real fruits is the reflective texture, the cake has an obvious difference in this appearance, the pear was relatively easy to pick out compared to the apple, the apple took me a second between the second and the first one. You can see slight depressions and unnatural indentions in the reflective texture that ultimately makes the cake noticeable with a close enough look, otherwise, this cake is completely undiscernible from their real-life counterparts.

Got 'em both! For me, it was in fact the spots on the pears that gave it away, or rather the extremely grainy texture that pears are supposed to have that the cake one didn't. The grainy texture of a pear peel makes the light shining on it more focused and extremely blurred out in one tiny area. The light on the cake was less focused on a singular area and more spread out. For the apple one, it was the water droplets. They felt kinda off. I guess what I'm trying to say is that they were too compact. A little too many and too closely packed against one another. They didn't look like they were sliding down. They didn't seem dynamic in nature. (Honestly, though, had I NOT known that some of these were cakes, I would've been fooled XD)

The imperfections on the pear were what made it stand out to me because I’d obviously seen you make them, but really getting up close you can kind of tell that real pears have a sort of dotted texture on them while yours didn’t have that so it was a bit more obvious in that regard, but unless you’re looking at these dead on and searching for imperfections then nobody would be able to tell at a glance.

WOW!! These both were so amazing, the pear I wasn’t able to discern but the only reason I was able to guess the apple correctly (after some long, hard scrutinising) was the water droplets all looked too similar. Whereas with the other two the droplets were differently sized. Amazing work! 🤩

Had I not known this was a cake video I wouldn’t have suspected but I got both right instantly. They were unbelievable.

Nothing short of sheer brilliance is your work. I’m in bewildered awe of the artistic folk of the world, and you’re right up there at the pinnacle of it all, no issue there. As a new subscriber, I can’t wait to see what magic you bring to us next 🤗

I did get the pear fairly quickly because it was a bit too smooth, but you did an absolutely incredible job! If anything the stem of the apple kinda gives it away, but I had to look really hard!

They’re very hyper realistic The first pictures, I couldn’t tell which is the real cake for both But watching you work, I knew what to look for in the end You’re a very talented person

I was right about them both but for the pear I just remembered the detail. The apple stem center gave it away.

6:50 “Edible water droplets” I didn’t know water wasn’t edible
@Romy---6 ай бұрын
Because she couldn't use water on the cake, they wouldn't stay, so she had to make them FAKE... therefore edible FAKE water droplets. She didn't use the word fake but it's not that hard to understand, just think a little bit.🙄
@MayimHastings6 ай бұрын
Red delicious apples are so top heavy and wobbly because of their narrow little waists, so i figured the fake one would look slightly sturdier. And the gel beads were slightly more concentrated. But had you not said that one was fake, I'd never have noticed. And you got me with the pears! Beautiful job omg, you are awesome!

You are so incredibly talented!! And I agree with a comment I just saw. A kiwi would be great for you to do. Curious how you would do that texture.

Look at how she does broccoli. She makes a mold of the texture. Remember it’s how the cake looks. We wouldn’t touch the kiwi to feel the outside.

Firstly… Whoa! 2y old video! I was enjoying it for the first time today. (Fri Jun 14 2024) Firstly, I am truly pleased with who well these cakes turned out. You are an inspiration. The skill and follow through are incredible. Secondly, Yes, the cake can be found immediately due to the damage marks you added but only because you showed those damage marks being made. Regardless of the easy at which this cake can be found the best proof of Hyper-realism is the fact that at first glance, long before the process of making was watched, these cakes fooled me. I love it. Thank You. Best eight minutes and seven seconds well spent.

Wow! This is crazy! I've never heard of this before. Now, if you could make the inside look real... with cake. That would be truly mind blowing!

Artist and Baker- Master of Both! The pear was easy because you let me watch you paint on the scars -But the apple was tougher, l was still deciding between twin apples when you cut into it. Thant was an exciting video; informative, fun, and enjoyable. Thanks much!

What gave the pear away was, you had already shown the deliberate imperfections you made and I saw them. I thought the apple cake was the one in the middle and it wasn't!🤣
@NostalgiCrazy2 жыл бұрын
Haha yes! I probably would've gotten that wrong if she hadn't. I got the apple right though, but once again, it's because I paid attention to the "water" droplets looking the tiniest bit off.
@milkteaicecrm2 жыл бұрын
It looks so real if i didnt know that you’re doing a hyper realism cake i wouldnt have thought its a cake at all. But since i know one of it is a cake so i managed to spot which one is not the real fruit. I got the pear one because of the texture of the pear. Not the imperfection but more on the surface of the pear skin. It has brushes texture compare to the real fruit which more smooth which makes me be able to differentiate it. For the apple i think the water droplets gives it away since its more structured and a has lots more than the one on the fruits. The one on the fruits has few different shapes while on the cake has so many of tiny droplets spread evenly on the cake, so thats how i knew it’s the cake. it also has very minimal brush texture too but other parts just perfect, the color and the sculpture are well balanced. I kinda do arts but not that good and here are my thoughts from my perspective as someone who knows very little about hyper realism and i think i always have sharp eyes so i hope it helps!!! Love your arts

The only way I was able to tell them cause the real ones actually looked too perfect to be real comparing to the cake ones 😂.
