I saw this statue at Midtown Comics about 2 months ago. I think its a great piece. The details on the costume and weapons along the different colors of black are what caught my eye. I also like the pose Sideshow chose (stealth and that he's ready to mess somebody up) Best bud is getting his next week. I got the Prime 1 52 version. Its my personal favorite Batman Statue but he is a space hog and doesn't look right next to the Superman PF.

Great review and glad you got this piece. I bought him more than a year ago. Him and Superman PF so go together. I also agree with you, I grew up with Hal Jordan as well. I was going to buy the older GL PF but like you said. It does look out dated compared to these PF. Overall, great review 👍

This was sooooooo satisfying.... Hahahaha! I was blown away right from the very beginning why so many people weren't seeing the beautiful potential of this statue. It's light leagues above the past PF. I actually respect your reviews and videos in general. Even when I disagree on some creative aspects. Glad to see you come to the dark side on this one ;) Hahaha PS - the blades in his hand look insanely lethal and creative. That's why I always liked them. I never thought they were really Baterangs. Oh, and definitely take the time to shape that cape. You're going to love the statue even more. I promise! Congrats on the statue!

Oh man! Have you seen the blue variant? Only 500 of them. I like the black, but the blue really pops, you can really see more detail. But yours is awesome too.

I can see why you got it. It fits in well with the new line up you have displayed. A lot better than the old one. That being said, I am not sure I would get as a stand alone piece.

I have the og one and still on the fence to get this. I do like the new one and also have the og Harley and poison ivy. Just don't know if i want to drop another 1500 to get the new line

Great video! It’s funny I was literally in the same boat with this piece. I didn’t like it for the cape and the pizza cutters but since I got the Superman and wonder woman this one matches perfectly. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet but I will be soon.

Superman was my first statue and I want a Batman but found this to black and mordern. I feel a more classic blue/ grey modernized would go with Superman and Wonder-Woman better. Such as the new Batcave Hush as 1/4 or even the Daniel Bel bust if they would ever do a full 1/4 scale of it.

Hey Jeff appreciate your insights and advice on the newer Batman PF I originally had planned on getting him but decided on the older Modern Age Blue Bats. The blue is my Batman, still may get this one somewhere down the line. Between you and Chris you guys are really making it hard not to. Lol I wanted to ask tho how is the magnet on the portrait and the seam line where the portrait and cape meet? I heard that posing a problem for some. By the way love the Justice League setup so far looking forward to seeing Flash and then hopefully Hal GL later. Take care!

The magnet is strong, but yeah, you have to flatten out the part of the cape that goes under the portrait. It took me a few minutes to get it right.

I have the same JL line with the latest Hal Jordan GL, looks cool to me though.. and im still contemplating if i would get that mamoa aquaman & the prime 1 new52 cyborg?? What do you think? I think cyborg would fit well??

As always a good review. It's a pass for me though. I don't like the boots and gloves, they look "clunky" to me. On that Superman though, I know that the exclusive is sold out but I'm seriously thinking about the collector's ed though. It looks awesome.
