Sideshow Collectibles - Premium Format - 1/4 Scale Black Panther

The word of the day is: Awesome! So excited to be able to add King T'Challa to the collection. Sideshow really did a great job with this statue. Great details on the suit, the pose is majestic and very fitting for the character and has great presence. Unfortunately my statue came damaged out of the box, but even that wasn't enough to dampen my excitement for this piece.

Also I noticed Sideshow is offering double reward points on this piece. I'm not affiliated with them or anything but might be worth it to look into it you are interested.

I think the unmasked likeness of Chadwick Boseman looks near perfect to me. It's the best likeness I've seen on any movie based version of BLACK PANTHER, weather it's a statue or action figure and when I eventually purchase one, I plan on displaying him with the unmasked Chadwick Boseman portrait, because I already have several BLACK PANTHER figures and statues with only the masked heads. Its not Chadwick Boseman, just a close approximation. The fact they don't use his name in the statue details tells you everything you need to know. Iron Studios have two statues that directly state based on Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, listed by name. Unfortunately no such reference to Boseman for this one.

Agreed. It's a great piece nonetheless, I also tend to keep it with the mask on.

In person it's well proportioned. I think it's the pose, looking up, while stepping up with hands down kind of gives it the long hands look. It's my favorite piece and looks great. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for watching. As far as fitting in with comic pieces, yes it will, the masked portrait specifically I think will fit in great with comic inspired pieces. I actually have Sideshow's recent Silver Surfer and they look good together.

Hola, bueno de ciertos angulos si se parece a Chadwick. No es perfecto, pero para my si se ve bien. No es replica de uno a uno, pero yo de verdad Tengo El mio con la mascara y lo voy a poner junto con el Nuevo Black Panther de Hot toys. Lo compre porque de verdad, de aqui no se cuando vamos a ver otra statua con la cara de Chadwick. De nada y pasala bien, si te puedo ayudar en algo, avisas.

Beautiful statue. Sideshow do some for you for a couple of scratches? Get a magic marker. We shouldn't penny pinch these companies.

I ended up getting a full replacement from Sideshow and thankfully the replacement came in with no issues. They weren't just scratches but actual missing paint and when I reached out to Sideshow with pictures they agreed that they couldn't guarantee more paint wouldn't come off and that it's best they send a full replacement. That means a lot coming from a person who only has ONE subscriber. On another note tho, I have the same statue and it looks badass. However, when I assembled mine, it looked like the head portrait is crossed eye or has a lazy eye. I thought it was normal but then I saw ur statue and it was not crossed eye. I def will contact Sideshow and see what they can do for me
