The middle knuckle is actually a kenpo hand form. It is used to hit softer areas more precisely, such as the temple.

Hey shartimus; the mags in the large pistols do come out of the guns, I found out when I bought mine this past MON. Just grip the bottom of the mags and gently but firmly pull and they’ll come out...

Very cool figure but as of now I think the Mezco is a better value. Especially the deluxe version that comes with double the weapons and trench coat.

Great review, Shartimus. I got my Punisher recently. I managed to remove the magazines from the pistols, had to use my teeth, but they are removable.

Annoy Midnight Sideshow is the official retailer of Hot Toys figures in the USA, but they are not the same company. Sideshow sells Hot toys along with their own figures, statues, and prints.

Annoy Midnight Hot toys are higher quality, usually based on a film or TV show, they feature very realistic head sculpts and tailoring, and they usually come with more accessories. This also means they are also generally more expensive. Sideshow usually focuses on comic versions of characters. Still high quality just less realistic.

I really wanted to like this figure, but I'm just not a fan of the Hamiltan they gave him. It's hard to justify the cost when you compare what you get from this figure vs what you would get from Hot Toys for the same price. I'm thinking my definitive 1/6 scale Punisher figure is going to be the upcoming HT John Bernthal figure. Thanks for all the videos!

The weapons are always a major fun factor with a Punisher figure, so I'm sort of puzzled why Sideshow gave him a bunch of made up, sort of Sci-fi looking guns. Weird.

love the video...the figure, not so much. The hands are pretty silly looking, the tone on the head sculpt is way too dark, the head actually doesnt even cover the neck joint completely so it really breaks the immersion and makes him look like he has a floating head. Almost every figure i have purchased or passed on is based on a Shartimus vid, and this one helped me decide not to purchase him when he came out, because of all of the in depth examination. Funny enough, I ended up winning him in a contest, and re-watching this video made me decide not to even open him lol! I hope you get and review the Sideshow Lobo 1/6 scale figure because THAT is a beautiful piece and I am surprised not as many people are talking about it!

For the prices they are charging figures such as this should be close to perfect. In the video at least this figure is effeminate in the shoulders, the hands are comically oversized and looks sunburned. Not at all a good example of The Punisher.

Every one of those guns are completely made up. They are not models of real guns...same for Sideshow's Deadpool.
