Eh he was kinda cool (I liked the 4x lightsabers, and the insinuation that he murders jedis and uses their weapons to continue killing) but the whole human lung thing was pretty stupid. They should've just made him a droid outright, that once was a human. Maybe uploaded consciousness or transplanted his brain into a brain-case, and let that be his only organic component? I dunno.

I always thought Grievous was like a prototype for what Vader became and Vader was the finished product of working out the Kinks of how they were going to take somebody that was human and fit them into robotics. I always liked Grievous and wish you would have had more of a roll and screen time and good dialogue

For me I always thought the lightsabers drew contrast away from him. I would really like to see Sideshow do a lifesize bust of him with a relevant portion of his cape and all four arms in a relaxed pose with no weapons drawn. Easier said than done with his physical features.😟

Im surprise how bad the weathering looks in the closeups. Not sure if the previous owner tried to drybrush some metal scuffing or it is that bad from factory. It is Ruby's quality when it comes to paint IMO. I also believe they could have done so much more with this pose and effects, having the blades hitting the ground or something creating burns or flying debris. Anyways great review, subbed!

As for myself I did like General Grievous. Too bad a longer part, or an an modified extension of him did not come around cause I would've wanted to see more of him on the screen. Check out my custom G.G. when you can. I wanted to have all four sabers light up. Note to the wise: ALWAYS READ ALL OF THE PRINT BEFORE YOU BUY-lol

I think General Grievous was a cool character. I’m not a dick writer Lol, but on account of my extreme Star Wars fandom; I know more about it than I should. You mentioned that he’s a secondary character and that the execution could have been better, and based off the sole feature film he was a part of, I wouldn’t argue that. Where General Grievous shines is in the Clone Wars animated show; written and facilitated by George Lucas and his padewan, Dave Filoni; who is now a director and collaborator with Jon Favreau for The Mandalorian. It’s a show set between the events of Episodes II and III, and Grievous is one of the main antagonists. Cool statue and great review Mr. X 👍🏻

Cool statue! The parts where you can see his spine and other biological pieces are great details in this statue. I do like him in the movies... but they could have done something more with this character. Thx again for the awesome review mister X 😊!

It really fucks me off when sellers are conservative with the truth regarding issues with the item they're selling, I can never quite understand how they also think a bit of newspaper n bubblewrap, thrown around a 'floating' statue in a shitty box and poorly taped together is enough to survive global shipping, they truly are a bunch of assclowns! Having said that, you seem to have done a pretty decent job of fixing the piece, from what I can see from England 8-)

I was a fan of the character overall but there were too many times in the movies and the Clone Wars TV show they made him look like he was a buffoon that kept bungling his run ins with the Jedi. His backstory is cool but they kid if Captain Phasma'd him.

I'll be honest I am not very impressed with this piece. A main point is I would never personally by a statue of him. I liked the character a lot and not being able to pose him really kills the vibe. As for this piece itself, wow sorry you got taken so hard. You can really see how standards have changed over the years. The feet appear to be digging into the base, but the base has no sculpt or paint that would reflect this. The sabers seem rather plain and lacking in paint detail. I feel those points alone would be a major flaw with most of today's statues. Are there any switch outs or pieces missing from this? The closeup of the forearm looks like it has a clip piece so you could display him with the arms collapsed together.
