I am here with my mother in her nursing home. This past year has been filled with fear and pain. We lost Mom to the horrible Alzheimer’s Disease. She is still alive but unaware of all that is around her. My dear son-in-law had to have a liver transplant to save his life. He has a genetic condition which predisposes him. My younger brother died in June from a catastrophic stroke. One of Mom’s last remaining sisters, my Aunt died in August. My husband’s bladder cancer returned with a vengeance. His mother, my mother-in-law and BFF was also diagnosed with bladder cancer. And, my little Chihuahua Mocha died. She became my baby after Mom could no longer care for her. I miss her so, but she had a good life of 14 years. My two sons struggle with addiction. This song speaks to me. Jesus has never left me. He has brought me, still bringing me through. Phil. 1:6
