I was raised Catholic...went to Catholic school but I was still empty...I didn't really no who God was...but after meeting a beautiful woman of God she helped me see that my emptiness could be filled without Los and Savior...I thought she was just telling something to just get me through but when I opened my Heart to Jesus and the Holy Spirit me eyes were really opened to who God is....and I saw that he really was there walking the path with me step by step ....and that when He became REAL TO ME.....Amen!!!!!

What a blessing! So many bands these days have feel good lyrics, not meant to make people think. Sidewalk Prophets is not like that! I literally listen to Sidewalk Prophets every morning. Dave you were made to sing! You all are using your gifts for the good of God and it's beautiful. I've went to two of your virtual concerts so far. Thank you for making your music and giving all of us hope. Your song This is Not Goodbye is so very special and close to my heart. I come from a big family of 6. I have two siblings in college and one in highschool. My siblings and I are very close. My oldest sister is engaged and getting married this summer I listen to This is Not Goodbye everytime my siblings leave for college. Thank you for giving me and my family hope. I can't wait to see what God will continue to do with you all! God bless you and your families.

The line about Christian radio gets me every time. My teenage years were really rough, but Christian radio and the artists I found there were such a big strength to me. I've introduced many to Christian radio/music over the years, and many have expressed gratitude for that. Music is more powerful than we can understand. As music producer Terry Lewis says, "Music is what soothes us; it's what inspires us. It tells a story. Things we can't say for ourselves - songs tell those stories for us."

Jesus doesn't give us fear.satan does your not going to hell for not sharing the gospel. Its a free gift for all that believe in him.you may lose your reward in heaven but you won't lose your salvation.

There is no scripture that says if you don't share the Gospel then you'll go to Hell. Have you turned away from your sins and placed your trust in Jesus Christ and His crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection to save you from the penalty that you deserve because of your sins? Do you love Jesus Christ? If you answered "no" to any of those questions, then talking to your pastor should be your first concern. Not sharing the Gospel. And if you answered "yes" to all of those questions, you don't have to fear going to Hell. You are now set free to Love Jesus and follow His commands out of love for Him instead of fear. A child is threatened with punishments to keep them from doing something that could do them great harm or even kill them. Think of a five year old who is told not to run in the street. They are told that if they run in the street they'll get punished. So the five year old doesn't run in the street BECAUSE they don't want to be punished. But when they grow older, like by age ten, the child doesn't run in the street because they understand their parents were trying to keep them from being hurt or killed. Because their parents Love them. So the child loves their parents for loving them. And the child trusts their parents the next time their parents command them to not do something. This love and trust become the reason for listening to the parents instead of fearing punishment for not listening. The same is true with God. God loves us and knows the dangers this life holds. So He gives us commands to follow to help us avoid death, horrible consequences, and to help us grow up safely and with Godly character. All of God's commands are meant to give us life, even if it seems like they are meant to make life less fun. (The five year old doesn't want to be told to not run in the street, it takes away his fun). And until we come to the point of trusting God and loving Him and knowing He only wants what is best for us, the fear of being punished is what keeps us from doing what will harm us. However, relationship with God is not about following a list of rules perfectly. When we love God we will find that we do things God commands without even knowing it sometimes. And other times we do it because, even though we might not feel like it, we know God has very good reasons for asking us to do it. Jesus says, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." So, as a Christian, obeying Jesus' commands is how we show we love Him. So, spreading the Gospel, which is one of His commands, is a way to show you love Jesus. Not something that sends you to Hell if you don't do it. What is "spreading the Gospel?" It's telling people that salvation has come to sinful humankind. That we all are headed for Hell because of our sins, but we don't have to go to Hell if we repent and trust in Jesus who died for our sins and rose again. Instead we are forgiven of our sins, made part of God's eternal family, given access to relationship with God, and Heaven becomes our home when we repent of our sins and place all of our trust in Jesus alone for our salvation. Spreading the Gospel is like knocking on someone's door and telling them their house is on fire. You are a messenger trying to get people to wake up and get out of the house that's on fire. Many people will get very upset for giving them this news, even though it will save their lives. (Jesus says many people will be offended by the Gospe)l. Others won't believe you, at first, and will want to argue. And others will jump right out of the house and be thankful. That tends to happen less often. I know I've written a lot here, but I hope it helps. I want to say just a few more things. Sharing the Gospel isn't easy all the time, even people who do it often get nervous sometimes. But it is easier to do when you realize that you are in a position to help someone know Jesus and save their soul. I remember seeing someone and I prayed "God, please send someone to help them." I truly believe I heard God say "Then you go help them." I hesitated, but went. I shared Jesus with them and prayed for them. It was evident afterwards that I was truly meant to talk with them about Jesus. Maybe someone else would have come along, if I didn't go, but maybe not. One of the best parts of sharing the Gospel is that you are working with Jesus to bring others into His family. When you know why you're spreading the Gospel...for love of Jesus and out of love for the person who might not know Him. And when you know what's at stake...the eternal life of the person in front you. Then it will be easier to spread the Gospel. (So, don't be erroneously afraid you're going to Hell for not spreading the Gospel, instead be truthfully concerned that a person is going to Hell if they don't hear the Gospel). Studying The Bible and praying and really getting to know God in quiet time with Him is very important as well. Very important. I recommend checking out Ray Comfort on the Living Waters channel on KZbin. He has a method of evangelism that is simple, biblical, and powerful. He also offers training online. I recommend you watch his video "Hell's Best Kept Secret" and then watch any number of the hundreds of street evangelism videos he does. I have used some of his methods in spreading the Gospel and it is effective. You can also go to your pastor for guidance in this. Maybe a phonecall to them is the best way to do this during the pandemic. Be encouraged! Take time to learn. Take time to really get into The Bible and spending quality time in prayer. Take the time to learn about your identity in Christ. And share the Good News, the Best, the Greatest News, with the world. Out of love for God and others, not out of fear.
