What a powerful feeling, isn’t it? To be in the darkest place that you never thought you’d be. The chains of addiction feel impossible to break. You’ve hurt people who loved you for a poison that was destroying you. I was there. I was too far gone. I ran from God. If He’s real, then I’m going to hell. I quit trying, but God wouldn’t let me go. It was at my most darkest moment, that I raged at God. I said awful things. I was so broken. Then I felt a physical warmth enveloping me. I’ll never forget what I heard clearly “I’m here, thank you for crying out to me. I won’t let you go”. From then on, unexplainable things happened. My addiction battle was still brutal, but I felt held and loved by a God who pursued my heart. Prayers from my past I thought were ignored were being answered. I realized the sin I had succumbed to wasn’t my identity. God saw through to the broken heart under the shame, and he pursued it. Gods love & mercy can’t be understood by us, but it is real and powerful. 2 years ago I was sitting in jail, craving the relief from my poison. Now I am clean, forgiven by my family, married to the person I thought I’d never find, and a job I never thought I’d have. I will never stop being thankful for the love & mercy given that I didn’t deserve. ❤

I started my car, tears in my eyes. This song was playing on the radio. You see, I just left my brother in the cancer ward. Just days left in his life. The three of us joined hands, me, my brother and his wife, we prayed and gave thanks. After the "amen" I kissed his fuzzy forehead, and just managed to say "this isn't good-bye, its see you later," knowing eternal life means an eventual reunion. I sat in my car sobbing, as I listened to the words. Assured that this is not only an invitation, but also a picture of us joining our Savior at his banqueting table. And I heard in that moment the Savior saying to my brother, come to my table, sit down and be set free from this terrible cancer. Come join all those who have been redeemed. Come and be with your Savior. Come to the table. "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep " 1 Thess 4:13-14 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son." Matt 22:2

My favorite thing about god is forgiveness. It reminds me that we are human and imperfect. I spent 34 years of my life as an atheist but the older I get the closer it brings me to see and believe that god is real. You see things, you experience life, you suffer pain, and you heal. Then one day you realize god has been watching out for you all along. The bridge in this song is so powerful. I'm a forever servant to my savior. Thank you lord.

I've been struggling to find and keep a job for a long time, but I was recently by Cracker Barrel. I keep finding more and more signs that this is the table God has prepared for me until I get to the eternal table. I lost one job, went three days without work, and was hired by CB the next. On my way home from the interview, a song with lyrics "rising up like Lazarus" played on the radio. That's when I made the 3-day connection. This song played on my way home from my second day or orientation/training yesterday. My CB is on Manna Ct, and as a sister-in-Christ said, CB's food is heavenly. On top of all that, my ETC openly talked about her faith and how she prays over everyone in our CB family! God bless!

We were planning on our churches Last Supper Drama earlier this year as we were discussing things I heard this song in my head over and over so I went home and searched it. When I listened to it I was like wow what an impact and what a perfect altar call the Lord have gave me. I told the pastor about it and he was like yes for sure. The first drama was on a Saturday Evening. I was an actor in the drama potraying the Roman Centurion Soldier. I was standing at the back of our fellowship hall when the pastor made the announcement it was time for the altar call. When the couple started the song I was witnessing the Holy Spirit as something I have never witnessed in my 60 years God has blessed me with. People were leaving their chairs and some were even running to the altar. I couldn't do anything but cry and to be thankful for what God was doing! Just Amazing!

Kathrine, i was baptized at 13 (I'm 35 now) and i knew of Him all my life...but I didn't KNOW Him yet...you haven't come to KNOW Him yet...that is GOOD! Testimony: It took YEARS for me to come to HAVE a WALK with Him :) . I went through 12 years of Trigeminal Neuralgia (Look it up...) starting at age 23 and after that, I fell from Him...I thought. I cursed at Him, I yelled, I screamed, I sinned, I faltered, and I failed, all because I hurt so bad, and I blamed Him for everything. BUT, He RE-AWAKENED me, AS HE WILL YOU, because HE DOES NOT FAIL. He brought me to the END of myself, so that HE could REmind me what He started in me HE WILL FINISH. Those hardships? yeah Kathrine, THAT ONE....and THAT ONE...Give them to Him and then.........Let go. It is done. When you confess your sins, repent (WHICH MEANS TO TURN BACK TO YAHWEH), forgive all who have wronged you, and ask for forgiveness, you know what He Does....HE DOES IT. >>>>>>>> COMPLETELY

Jim, Welcome to the Family Brother! Word of advise.. Be ready for the attack from the prince of darkness. For he does not need to attack those he already has he only needs to spend time attacking those who Accept Jesus. They say the birthmark of a believer is a bullseye. Remind yourself daily of the Agape Love of our Lord! Also, don't just read the Bible, Live The Bible Daily! Put the Word of God into Action! Again Welcome to the family our Brother!

This song reminds me of Jesus and his 12 disciples or apostle on the table eating bread and wine. But I don't know what it means. But that what I thought it's mean of this song. Amen

We are invited to the Lord’s table to accept the sacrifice of Jesus’s body and blood on the cross for payment of our sins. That’s why we partake in “Communion,” “The Lord’s Supper,” or “The Eucharist” during Christian worship gatherings. It is done in remembrance of Him and His sacrifice. Hope that helps…

I love Jesus so much. I’ve made mistakes and I continue to make them and I stray off the path but God forgives me and tells me that it’s ok you can still come to me your still my child. The fact that God stays by me despite who I am and my ugly side makes me want to worship him for the rest of my life and then someday for eternity in his kingdom. I love him for showing me love, mercy, and compassion always and even in times when I didn’t deserve it, there is absolutely no one like Jesus and I’m just so in love with him.

I could imagine all of us believers on a big long table talking to each other and eating and enjoying each other's company with Jesus. Jesus will be saying like "Come take a seat, you are all welcome here". What a day that will be! Yeah I teared up too. Believers everywhere, whatever you are going through, God loves you. 2020 is now here. Let Go of anything you are trying to hang on to and Let God do the rest! I know that sounds harder than that and I encourage you. Whatever you are going through, give it to God, let him deal with what you have in your life. Brother in Christ Matt
