As usual, I learn a lot from your videos, I could never have fantasized about how much fun inline skating is and the physics you get from training, I mean who doesn't feel good hearing friends and family comment that i lost weight and built muscles.

Informative as always, few little points, trinity mount was created to lower the hight, especcialy with ever larger wheels (additional advantage bootstifness as you said). Dual core creates a larger footprint wich is indeed grippier, but also slower however it also seems to create kind of a rebound at the end of each compression/push, wich means free release of forward energy each stride I think

yes true about the trinity that it was also made to have a lower ride height. Weirdly enough most of the tinity skates are not that much lower to the ground and still have a big gap between the wheel and the boot. one thing all trinity mount boots have though is a lack of the big chunky metal plate that is needed for the 165mm frames. This plate costs a lot of money so in a way trinity was a way to make frames more expensive (to sell) and boots cheaper to make.

@@ThisissoulI have a Tau with endless 100, so a carbon boot with very rigid frame but a bad ground is not more unpleasant than with a pure plastic boot (UFR). It is thanks to the trinity system, and that is a very nice thing too.

Elastic quality of sideways flex is what gives plastic boots their identity. Absorbing and slowly breaking-in feel at end of range of flex is the joy of plastic boots. It is possible with carbon slalom boot and carbon cuff to go too inelastic/stiff. Downhill skating’s slides require controlled sideways flex.

Hey! I recently started skating and bought a pair of FR1 skates with 84mm wheels. I was so excited with my new pair of skates that I went out for a 5-6 hour session. That was four days ago, and I still have blisters above my ankles from friction with the liner. I figure I'm not the only one to enjoy long sessions. Do you have tips to avoid blisters? Will the boot get a little less tough after a while? Am I thightening my laces too much? Or is this normal for new skates? Thanks for the vids!

congrats on the purchase! sometimes the skin needs some getting used to having a skate over it. so it might be something you just need to get used to. things you can do: - get some skate socks - tighten your skates more - buy an intuition liner - fill up space in your liner with a superfeet - fill up space in your liner with a size reducer insole. we have those also from the superfeet brand. good luck!

So technically speaking, the older FR UFR AP Intuition is one of the better cheapest skates if you put an 80mm wheel?
@Thisissoul

yes the UFR is a great skate!

Hi, so this is the purpose of carbon cuff right? sideways flex?
@Thisissoul
@Thisissoul 6 ай бұрын
yes. that is what a carbon cuff is for. That is why the new Wizard Base skate has the carbon cuff for example
