Sideways primary reminds me of a burst gun basically shoot alot of high damaging bullet in one second and wait a few seconds to shoot again unlike starscream primary is like a assault rifle shoot alot and not stopping but less damage so yeah sideways is more of a sniper then a brawler that's why his melee is okay at best

Yes, but the real reason is because Audi was upset that Michael Bay had Sideways (An Audi car) in the movie so, Michael Bay had to give Sideways less screen time.
