I love this interviewer and how she did her job asking questions about their lives WHILE trying to respecting their boundaries and changing the topics. I can't imagine how tough it must be knowing she has to ask certain questions and I think she handled them with care despite them being personal and at times heavy questions. I think there was a good balance that was sought. For example after Katrina said the bit about how a lot could be said and they could meet for coffee and chat for hours, the interviewer acknowledged her and moved on, jumping right to Sidharth and lightening the mood about pedicures. I think this is a wonderful skill to have and makes it more enjoyable for the actors to relax and give the audience new pieces of information because they're not "on guard" and can talk about the film they're promoting. Very well done! This interview flowed nicely and I love how Sid and Katrina seemed comfortable with each other to reference their shooting experience and dive deeper than "it was fun"!

I think what Sid meant by the whole "I can't compete with an actress" thing is that he can't compete with an actress in the same film. In the same film, you're more of a team and your performance(s) bounce off of each other. But yet again, I can't read his mind so I don't know for sure but I'm assuming. And if that's what he meant, then I agree. You can't compete with your own team members. But, but, but. You can compete with your female contemporaries in the industry. It's healthy. You should get inspired by any good performance, regardless of the gender of an actor. (PS: Wow this guy should pay me as his lawyer) Any who, have a nice day. 😘

This interview is the perfect example showing how the 'influential' and 'educated' Indians unfortunately have such backward thinking. Firstly, no one cared to point out that the real mistake in the song 'Kala Chasma' is actually the fact that it further promotes colourism like many other bollywood songs. I love this song but there was absolutely no need for the word 'gore' to be added. That one word ruins the song and devalues it completely. Secondly, how can they just gloss over the sexist comments Sidharth made so casually. Anupama is the wife of Vidhu Vinod Chopra. She herself is National Award winning author and was the host for a film talkshow for NDTV and then Star World for i guess 5,6 years. And, also nowadays Bollywood celebrities have participated in many other youtube channels for the promotion of their films. From SRK, Salman to Varun and John and Anushka Sharma to Alia Bhatt. While it’s true their acting skills are average, Sid is pretty new to the industry and we could cut him some slack. Every actor improves with time and experience, and he did too as you can see in his new movie Shershah. On the other hand, Katrina’s acting skills have been consistently average. Her dancing has improved, her Hindi has improved, but her acting has remained the same or has hit a plateau despite her experience in the industry/ the number of movies she’s done.
