I wanted to say that Sidhu isn't doing anything like 'predicting' his own death. he's said in an older song 'he writes the truth of his life with his pen (in his songs)', talking in the third person. He writes about the things he's experienced/experiencing. just before his passing, Sidhu ran in the elections for a local position to try and better his district in Punjab, and after his death, his dad went on the record to share that there had been 8 assassination attempts on his life since he got into politics, with the 9th being the one where Sidhu is killed. earlier on in his career, he's talking about these genuine threats to him from gangs and artists etc due to his insane rise to success, but in the Last Ride, he's well aware of his position, how by trying to unite the youth, and with how he's directly criticized the government (you can react to Punjab, SYL, Scapegoat, 295 to see him speaking about unity and on social issues), he knows exactly how he's painting a target on his back by trying to get into politics and trying to speak out against the corruption deeply rooted in Punjab. the story about his death is also unbelievably tragic, how the government cuts his security detail in half (security provided to political candidates), and this information is "leaked" a few days before, how there's 2 stolen cars, one being a G-wagon, which have been staking out around Sidhu's town and no one has come searching for these cars, how the shooters had access to AN 94s, military grade assault rifles, and how adamant the government is to ignore the pleas of millions of people demanding justice. Gangsters immediately flocked to claiming responsibility for the murder, but it doesn't take a genius to understand how many sheep were threatened by the power Sidhu has.
