Divyendu just a piece of advice from my side, develop modesty, humility and gratitude. It will take you places. U dont hv a filmy background so u cannot afford to be arrogant, high headed and proud. I am saying this because in few of your interviews u do sound as if you hv achieved everything. Apart from that loved you in Mirzapur. Shahid is not really a star kid. He didn't got his movies because of his connections. He worked as background dancers , he was part of shiamak Davar dance group. He auditioned for movies. He wasn't launched like star kids. And also shahid has given great performances like Haider , kaminey and many more. Dibyendu is good but disrespecting other talented actors is not justified.

And even audiences can strictly call this out. Basically it’s business vs art. You can put ananya pandey in a soty 2, khaali peeli etc. but if you constantly keep putting her in sequences that require skills (her dance next to Deverakonda in Liger is so striking lacklustre) it is just unfair when we have actresses who can do it very well.

@@rm3015 Yes, the problem isn’t star kids, the problem can be that continuously wasting good scripts and budgets on characters that other people could have easily done much better. There’s no doubt on the amount of PR that star kids have, and common actors have to struggle to get even 10% of similar traction on their performance. Example: Alia bhatt got an Imtiaz ali movie after soty. How many great scripts were offered to Tripti Dhimri, Sobita Dhulipala? They had remarkable performance since 1st project but fizzled out and had to struggle a lot to be whatever they could manage today. So am not against Alia Bhatt but we should have other people get a fair chance.
