I've waited for this review for ages. A decent, Generation One, Deluxe, non-Masterpiece Ironhide (And Ratchet, and now apparently Crosshairs of all 'bots...) And hearing you compliment Kup is rare. Glad to see it though, as I assume him and Ironhide are mates.

This was the very first Siege figure I picked up, and I knew from the moment I saw this figure in person that I had to get your thoughts on it. This review did not disappoint. Best bit was the leg panels part. But yeah, Siege is killing it so far. Prime's amazing, Sideswipe finally has the right look for me, Megatron impressed me despite me being perfectly happy with the Titans Return one, Starscream's surprisingly awesome, Soundwave's fantastic, Shockwave's only downside is his price tag(Though let's face it, most of you are not getting him for any cheaper on the secondhand market), and I even just picked up Magnus last week and he rocks too. Chromia is the only figure I can say is weak, but she's still a fairly enjoyable figure for what she is. And that's just from what I have. I haven't been this invested in a Transformers line since Prime ended.

Ironhide also has one, if you plug his gun into one of his open thigh panels. It makes a nice Micromaster weapon base reminiscent of his G1 toy's sled. For some reason.

I saw the promo pic and said to myself that Ironhide was buy on sight. Glad to hear there aren't any issues with him side from the side panels on the legs. Cant wait to arm him up!

The leg panels are fixable too, just apply some heat (like with a hairdryer) and you can bend the holders on the legs to fit the panels properly.

Awesome review as always!I couldn't wait for seige ironhide to come out and definitely ready for ratchet. As far as the leg flaps, you can fix the pop off issue by hogging out the holes slightly with a small screwdriver and I painted the inside of the windscreen with silver paint to hide his visible head in alt mode

There's a hidden feature where, if you flip open the panels that cover up his fists in vehicle mode, you get a kind-of-sort-of homage to his battle platform, since there are a pair of 5mm ports hidden on the insides of those flaps.

You can also squeeze out a weapon platform mode by opening his leg panels in vehicle mode, and there are two ports that are only usable that way. The back even has room for a Micromaster to stand up as a gunner.

The alt mode reminded me of something the first time I watched this video. Now I’ve finally remembered what that is! Ironhide turns into what resembles the Red Ranger’s first Zord vehicle from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue.

Great figure. Didn't even. Notice the issues with the alt mode untill you pointed them out. But a boxy van Ironhide is just damn slavishly G1 for me these days. Really glad we're getting a totally random Crosshairs repaint. Just wish it had a different gun!

You can actually slot the gun into the middle of his vehicle mode on the top if you slot it in upside down. It looks a lot better than using the 5mm ports!

I LOVE this Ironhide. I needed to tighten his leg joints a little, but I loaded every part of Cog and Sixgun on him and made it work in full silly overkill mode. He visually wears the overload brilliantly. For the price point, it's a great Ironhide dead set to punch Prowl on a moments notice.

Hey Thew, you actually transformed him semi-wrong in robot mode. The head flap can lift up for the truck bumper to fully snap into the shoulder. Hope this helps :)

I seen ironhide at walmart months ago in fall 2019,I should have picked it up when i had the chance being he is a major g1 charachter and hes become the most valuble deluxe of the seige line(the type of figures i like to own)now theres little to no chance ill find one new at any department store by now.
