I was 16 when my parents took me to Vegas.... I am 60 now... I still remember going to see Siegfried and Roy... and I am so bless my parents took us. We sat right next to the stage... all the power, magic and excitement. It was a truly magical show. I always hoped I would get back to see them again one day. Sadly, that never happened... RIP guys... you earned your rest...

It's very different from stopping your career of your own will and being able to say goodbye to the stage and your audience, you decide for yourself when things stop, and therefore the personal path is already established, there everything stopped extremely suddenly, with this feeling of unfinished business, I completely understand their terrible pain at not having been able to say goodbye as they would have wanted. I'm just glad Roy survived and Manticore lived to be 17 years old! The animals all lived very well, they only were put in cages for short periods of time. The rest of the time they roamed around the 100 acre estate of Siegfried & Roy. In later years however some were loaned out to Zoo's big mistake since one just died in the Zoo's care yesterday. All in All the animals had very good lives IMO

Who's cutting the onions here? People need to chill out! Roy got the tigers because he loved them. He had built a relationship with each other and no manticore wasn't killed. I think he is still alive today because of Roy's love for him no matter what. Why can't people just appreciate what they did because it was astounding. None of the animals were hurt or injured. For all we know they could have enjoyed it because they were always with their father figure, Roy.

Cardmaster Andmagic Manicore pass away couple of years ago after short illness, he was still with roy at the time. The truth behind what happened that night is......Roy collapsed due to illness, the tiger did what big cats do......he picked up his family member and carried away to safety, biting Roy saved his life as doctors said it released to pressure that was pumping into his brain.........Keeping big cats as pets is somewhat cruel to the nature of the animal but due to far greater problem of these wild animals being hunted and killed for there TEETH, HORNS etc etc they would be gone for ever...............There are 3700 tigers left in the wild in THE WORLD now. 5000+ in captivity in USA.......if left only as wild the'd be gone in 10 years

I cried as I cried never before ,but it was from how proud I was of them for doing that Last magic performance and not just that ,when I saw Mantecore the tiger on that stage again I felt so proud of them for saving that tiger after that sad incident ,knowing that Mantecore wanted to protect and move to safety his best friend,after he had a stroke while performing on the stage that night.. For all you assholes that keep denying the truth....Here it is....The tiger Montecore was a trained first responder, he was rendering aid to his dearest friend until a higher level of care arrived aka ambulance, which as everyone knows early intervention with a stroke shows best survival rates. Montecore knew the accronym FAST(Face Arms Speech Time) from his advanced tiger studies .We should all be praising Montecore the tiger for saving Roy's life and not relinquishing care until the ambulance arrived!! The tiger used surgical precision to accurately puncture Roy's carotid artery to relieve the pressure from a stroke!! Tiger Montecore is a HERO and should be celebrated as such for saving his dear friend!!!! RIP Montecore....brave tiger.

Kevin Andrews it's from the musical score for the movie "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story". "Heartbeat of a dragon" is the name of the song. It's used a lot for trailers and epic stuff. In fact I think KZbins audio system caught it so you can find it in the credits for this video now. Also funny enough music from the movie "Dragonheart" is also used a lot in trailers and stuff. I guess Dragon themed things just have great music.

Morgan Henry not everyone goes paralyzed when they have a stroke. plus the physical activity it took to run this show, practicing for hours on end, multiple shows a night, for almost a full year every year? they’re both extremely healthy and physically fit men. with their agility, i have a hard time believing a stroke wouldve paralyzed him. plus they’re very discipled and have the show must go on mentality. extremely strong minds mixed with adrenaline? i honestly think it’s totally plausible for him to move and speak while having a stroke. yes, it’s also very plausible he had the stroke after the attack, but with their commitment, love & loyalty to the animals, along with the animals intelligence, i really think roy is telling the truth. it’s been said that manticore was distracted (whether there was something wrong with roy, or from something else), tapping him on his nose with the microphone was meant to bring his attention back to his work. roy had to control the situation around him, i 100% believe he had the power & strength to do so.
