Incredible video! It's great to see what's cooking at the busiest rail manufacturing plants in the country. Can't wait for those Metro North Chargers to be delivered to NY soon, as if these videos are constant, they can provide helpful updates about the status of some of Siemens' many orders.

Those SC-42 DMs for Metro North Rail Road look great. As a resident of the Hudson Valley my station is Beacon on Metro North’s Hudson Line. Can’t wait to ride these to and from Grand Central Terminal.

Nice video, looks like Siemens has a lot of work cut out for them. It’s cool to see the factory from this view!

I'd like to point out at 8:35, there is an LRV you forgot to mention. It is a Siemens S200 LRV destined for the CTrain Light Rail system in Calgary, AB, Canada. It is part of an additional batch of 15 S200s ordered back in February 2020 adding to the existing 69 S200s already in service.

There may be a third Siemens train factory in the US to make HSR trainsets. The location hasn’t been confirmed officially, but previous BLW and Siemens documents have hinted that it would likely be in Nevada.

From WC, It’s great to see, manufacturing increasing for rail for the US and Canada, but I have to admit I still would have liked to see the ICE 3 as it is called in Germany used for Brightline and other rail services, as it is just a clean good looking passenger train and it can be built in a tilting edition to use on older track to increase speed!

Very nice! VIA really needs those sets, their fleet isn't doing very well

Welp, guess I'll be reserving one of 3rd Rail's O scale Chargers in Metro-North for my existing MNR coaches. Man that's going to be a heavy lift getting a third one of those on top of two Amtrak units ('cause they're $800 apiece😨)

Great vid!!👍If you can, see if you can do more of these. Would love to see a regularly updated series about what's cooking at Siemens. 🙏👍

For such a big facility, theres so little rail. I expected it to look like a fright rail yard.

i work at the facility nearby, next to the army depot but the main facility is awesome to walk around whenever i end up over there

Gonna miss hearing those loud GEP32s but the SC42s are nice

Great catches at the facility! I wonder if any of those nine-window Venture cars will be for Amtrak Airo. An unfinished Amtrak Cascades cab car was spotted not long ago too, so I wonder if those cab cars aren't all just for VIA.

Excellent video, expert drone work, very professional! It was a bummer not seeing any Brightline coaches pending, they needed them yesterday. I hope they get them soon.

Thank you very much for that, Austin. I spent quite a bit of time out there at the beginning of construction for Brightline. Back then there was only one rubber tired mobile platform called by all "Sherly" as that was a rough English pronunciation of the German manufacturer. Sherly had a dedicated crew and scheduling set days in advance to keep things moving. Suffice to say if Sherly broke down everyone felt the pain. Good to see there is at least one more now.
