I like Sierra chart's trading chart DOM. No fancy, just 4 columns. buy/sell/P&L/price. which attached either right or left based on your choice to sierra chart. Since dom is attached right next to, chart price ladder, easy to pin point trade right where my chart tells me to. Rather than fancy DOM seperate window with price ladder and chart has seperate price ladder. This feature is unique in Sierra chart. Just turn on the Chart Trading dom on on Trade menu and you will be amazed how simplify and precise trade becomes. In my opinion visualizing becomes synced when DOM and chart shares same price ladder with execution.

Nice video, quite old but still usable. Sierra Chart is a powerful trading platform, with all professional tools, but it is complicated to use. We, as professional traders, have created a website to help other traders to configure Sierra Chart, like a pro: User Manual, Tutorials, Services... everything to configure it as you want.

Hey Vlad, this is an overlay of the DOM inventory levels. The settings change on a daily basis based on the average size of inventory on the DOM throughout the session. Cheers - Mark

Great video vic. This helps tremendously as i'm new to AMP. When you use the Reverse button to switch your position, does it cost more to use that Reverse button? as for as commissions go.

Hey Cris, in terms of commission when hitting the reverse button it would be the same as getting into another trade. Say you are long already that is about $4.00 of commission for that trade, then you decide to reverse and get short. This is another $4.00 for the short trade, so for the two positions you have been charged $8.00 total in commission. -Vic

What a nightmare! if you want to lose precious time just "try" to sign up for a free demo of Sierra chart to try this program with AMP. There are soooooo many password and activation steps and e-mails back and forth and you need to contact support (that want to access your despot remotely! such a risk for a investor) I putted already 4 hours and I am still in the process to "TRY" to sign up for a free Demo account. the interphase is really old. I got TOS DAS MT5 and many brokers and I have NEVER had dealt with something so frustrating like that before.

Update: I contacted Customer service and the Customer rep. hanged up on me! ...in the middle of the chat! and I get the message :"xxx left the chart" ...unfortunately I invest time here (trying to "try" the program) but it was a bad idea. this program has a super old Inter phase and the customer service of AMP is awful. if you have an enemy recommend to sign up for a demo account with AMP to try Sierra...

@@romanbcn528 Wow, I signed up for the Sierra also and had no problemo whatsoever. All e-mails were automated . When I signed up I was given a data demo account which you use when connecting the data feed to Sierra. Yes you have to have a separate username/password for Sierra itself but that is because it is a separate entity from data. Yes you have to yet have another for your broker account. But I see it as a security feature. Better than $1100 for a NT licence imo. TOS is an integrated service. If you would rather have the simplicity and pay quadruple for micro futures, that is your prerogative.

@@slingtrader6903 It is interesting when you describe a bad experience and somebody write and say "hey I have no problem" make you Wonder, What is the point?...well my experience was different, they sent me a password that didn't work, then another wrong password, then I contacted support which hang up on me after an 30 min trying different passwords. lost of time, AMP is no worth it until they update and improve.

I notice that Victrio is really good in trading room and at identifying and calling out the movement of bids and offers on prices of multiple indices at the same time, is this because he is looking at the different DOMs at the same time?

So these trading "gurus" that are all over the KZbin that dont want to display a DOM dont want to because it shows more than they want to reveal? Like if they arent actually trading on a REAL account but trading on a paper account they dont want anyone to be able to verify a block of trades that they supposedly entered because they're most likely trying to pass off a paper account as a real one?

It sounds like you are saying DUM instead of DOM
