I am by no means the world’s finest musician, but I’ve played guitar for over 33 years now. I’ve won guitar contests, battle of the band contests, had radio play, toured as a recording musician for several years, sold my music to corporations, and taught guitar for years as well. All that said, I’m only saying that I have an idea of great musicians and I’m not saying I am myself one. But I’m my experience I gotta say this young woman is one of the finer musicians I’ve come across in a while. A generational talent and you can erase gender from anything about this. This is a PHENOMENAL musician period. Some people just have a natural and rare ability to connect musically and Sierra has absolutely 100% got that. I only found out about her today somehow and I’m just floored. Immediately recognized her superior musicianship and I am a fan now. Unreal talent!

What an astounding young performer you are, Sierra! I can only imagine what might have been created had you and Tony Rice been able to play together when Tony was at his peak. You have both incredible skill and absolutely beautiful musical sensibilities. I love your music and hope you have a long and brilliant career. I'll be watching as long as I'm around.

Hi! My name is Tim and I bought Sierra's first album and have been a fan ever since. Her talent and ability to play music the way she does astonishes me. She also has the best guitar brand that Burguois built for her is very deserving of such a talented individual. Good luck to Sierra and keep on playing that fine instrument!

All due respect to her grand daddy, I want to adopt this beautiful, talented young lady. But seriously, her parents must be so proud, not just becuase of her obvious talent, but the delightful, courteous way she engages with her audience.

This is one of the best 'at home' pandemic solo gigs I've seen on KZbin. The fact that you can't hide behind any production or a backing band is a real testament to Sierras top notch musicianship. Bravo!

Wow! To say the least ... I became speechless at 11 minutes, my jaw dropped at 12, I got teary eyed at 13 and started applauding at 14 minutes. What a guitar player this Sierra Hull is. A totally new name for me, I´ve been playing guitar since the Beatles days ... She is so different and yet so natural in her playing. (I´m pausing now at 14 minutes just to write off all my impressions, wow once again!) Now I´ll continue my listening - what a treat I have in front of me!

Oh yes. If she's a new name to you, you simply *must* watch her play the mandolin -- as another commenter mentioned, her first instrument, clearly her deepest musical love. She's a force of nature on that instrument. As a side note, another mandolinist you should check out is Chris Thile.

As a professional American orchestra musician and having played with many big name artists (classical and pops) Sierra is without a doubt an exceptional talent deserving of all the attention she receives! At such a young age she sits at the top of the heap in the music world.

Sierra is the real deal but guys, that Bourgeois guitar look and sound!!! Even if being recorded through her mobile mic I guess, you can hear and feel the bass being so deep warm & rich while still getting high notes clean & accurate. I do not own any share at Bourgeois guitar, but super great work guys!

Old "sink" wood: There's a lot of that in Lake Superior. About 30,000 logs, several different species, I believe, but much of it is red oak. They say it was about 250 years old when cut plus another 100 under water.
