It's way beyond what I understand but, I'm finding most of the music I'm listening to is by people that studied music in schools, specifically at Berklee College, Boston. 2 years at Berklee as a Presidential Scholar for Sierra Hull. She talks about her lesson program she has on ArtistWorks. She's not just teaching notes she plays. I believe a lot of what she does is teaching how to think not what to think. There's lots of engineering in her performances. I could put what I understand about music theory in a thimble but, I think it's good people know it.

Has anybody else noticed that she covers a song you have heard before that you were fine with hearing once, wouldn't go out of your way to hear again but, you hear her do it and you hit loop for hour(s) long sessions over and over? TBH, I don't love any of the songs she does but, I'm addicted to her performance of just about anything she chooses to play.

I’m gonna be honest here…I don’t often like to watch Sierra Hull videos. The reason? Because as a 48 year old guitarist of 34 years, I pale in comparison to the musical genius she is! Lol in all seriousness she is SO good it’s hard to comprehend. One of the absolute premiere talents this world has to offer right now. She is truly one of a kind.

Saw Sierra and her band last night in Cincinnati. Fabulous - not only as an instrumentalist but as a composer. She wrote a 3 movement composition for this year's Freshgrass Festival and they played it. Blew everyone away. Could/should be a symphony orchestra undertaking. What an amazing talent.
