I remember we were forced to sing this song in a 6th grade chorus class. I hated it. Practice, practice, practice. Now, as an adult, I love this song.

Just goes to show you, eh? An 11-year-old is one creature, and the same person all grown up is another! A bouquet of roses to the late bloomer! I first heard it performed by the delightful Nashville Kitty Cats in a bar where I worked back in the late 70s, and I loved it.
