Sierra Leone authorities struggling to deal with illegal mining, logging

Conservationists in Sierra Leone, are seeking help combating illegal mining and logging. Unarmed wardens aren't seen as a strong deterrent, and the west African country has lost 35 percent of its tree cover since 2000. Pollution from mining has also left communities vulnerable.
